5-2? Sigh... More insurance run(s), por favor? -
Hurrah for blosives.
-
Man, a 5 run lead. Nice job, Mr. Buxton!!!! I approve. But feel free to add on.
-
At least Barnes is rejoicing, i suppose. He could be rejoicing enough for us all. Who knows... If you are dumpster-diving, they could get hot. (Especially if there is a dumpster fire...)
-
And there was much rejoicing.
-
Me too, specifically, i hope they don't fall flat. I am fine with a well start.

"On the fine art of Dumpster Diving." Looking at the Pitchers for this afternoon, one might say they are reclamation projects of a sort. One might even go on a long rant about populating the roster from players viewed as cast-offs from other organizations. I, for one, appreciate the time and effort that our organization puts into evaluating all possible options. Finding/creating value where there wasn't before is noble. Anyway, off my soap box. Soap can and should be put to better use. Gant did fine last time out, and i heard, so did Happ, so that trade was a double win situation. We been hitting better of late, and i like to think that isn't just a matter of the pitching we been facing... Let's see if we can take one from the Yankees! Us: 0. John Gant (R) P 1. Luis Arraez (L) 2B 2. Byron Buxton (R) CF 3. Jorge Polanco (S) DH 4. Josh Donaldson (R) 3B 5. Max Kepler (L) RF 6. Miguel Sano (R) 1B 7. Rob Refsnyder (R) LF 8. Ryan Jeffers (R) C 9. A. Simmons (R) SS Them: 0. Luis Gil (R) P 1. DJ LeMahieu (R) 3B 2. Brett Gardner (L) CF 3. Aaron Judge (R) RF 4. G. Stanton (R) DH 5. Joey Gallo (L) LF 6. Luke Voit (R) 1B 7. Gleyber Torres (R) 2B 8. Tyler Wade (L) SS 9. K. Higashioka (R) C

We got us.a lead! This is good. I am hungry... -
Sorry i am so late. It has been a busy day. (for a generous definition of busy)
-
How about now?
-
Did we win yet?
-
Brownian motion is where it's at!
-
And game is tied. But he is still pitching.
-
Game over, man!
-
2 outs...
-
The outlook wasn't good for the Mudville 9 that day... Er, i mean, 1 inning left to play. Hope we don't get cheated of the bottom half!
-
Berrios has a shutout through 5. Hope he keeps going.
-
Oh well. Final inning and a half.
-
Well, ya do what ya can.
-
And flies out. Jeffers still at 1st, 2 out in the 8th. Pitching change to welcome the top of our order. Come on top of the order! Come out on top!
-
Cave pinch hits for Simmons...
-
Jeffers!
-
I'll start with a baserunner or two...
-
4-1. Another homer. Sigh.
-
Not that this has anything to do with the game. Sorry.
