    Off day... What do we do now? Anyway thanks for the company through rain delays and whatnot. Sorry i missed all the excitement. And that the chicken went hungry. Now for the game what puts the pen in opening... or rather pairs it. The pen-opening day... i so dub thee. And, like jack in the box, i'll find out what generous TDer has devoted creative energies to get us all on the right track. On goes life...

    ftfy... But yeah, the version i grew up with was a foam ball roughly tennisball sized in a netting. Didn't hurt so much, but took better eye/hand coordination than the more common version.

    Nah, i will find winning out in my own good time, and i appreciate seeing what folk think. (and post for that matter) I just am not yet tethered to the game thread continuously, even if it seems that way sometimes... More importantly though, i wanna know what i think, and sometimes chatting or scratchpaper or game threading helps me figure that out...

    Wow. I gotta admit having game 1 on 4/4 is pretty clever. Mildew can be pretty serious stuff. Just check out a summer camp lost and found bin. Or rather, please don't. Just take my word for it... How come it is called mildew? Is it found in mills? Or is there a stronger version called hot-ew or heavy-ew? Is mild-ish a thing? But i degress. Hope they play! And i will try to think up good names for other games to rectify this nominal imbalance. (And i shall call you squishy... perhaps not.)

    I wouldn't object. (Ducks are indeed flying objects, though not quite worthy of a throne... I'd go with a Blackbird, though i'm perhaps out of date) Perkins gotta get back on the horse sometime, to mix a metaphor (shaken, not stirred)

    Oh, you mean you want the footnote which i think has been mentioned in threads past? Some, as have higher culinary standards, or perhaps weaker gastrointestinal tracts, would not deign to acknowledge the hot pocket category of food. But it's there somewhere in the food pyramid. I think it's blinking eye of the illuminati, or some such, um... word. Brian, i think i need the turpentine again.

    Oh, i wanted to say i appreciated the walk down memory lane earlier in this thread. Not sure i made the time to watch some of those games, but yeah, they was good.

    Wait a moment... Did you actually hit your hand with hammer for the sole purpose of a game thread intro?! That totally escaped me (due to viewing it through the forum mechanism rather than the article mechanism) Alas, the Twins didn't even win the game. Now that's tragic.

    This sort o' thing reminds me i'm still alive, and i'm glad o' that. Also it doesn't hurt to credit the other team. They did kinda tag us for double digit hits and all.
