I have run into it on occasion, and yeah, it is frustrating. I think i reload, and am patient for all the page to finish loding before scrolling. But i also encounter that sort of behavior on mlb's gameday, (in particular when trying to go through all the plays) which suggests my web browser might be handling something poorly.

Oh yeah... For those who don't recognize the quote, or are too lazy to look it up. It is from a pivotal episode of Babylon 5, which i saw recently with a friend (and long ago when it aired) so it is fresh in mind. I googled for a few terms, and grabbed the imdb quote that came up.
