O yeah... Today is Tuesday. There is softball. A double header, no less. Maybe i'll get a hit. Also promised to drive. a friend into get his brass instrument fixed (he didn't specify...) and after that, a birthday dinn er if i don't run too late. I bet i been around here long enough there is sufficient body of work that you can imitate my particular quality of inanity... Do so with my blessing.

A group i played with last fall went enmass last fall. I think i had made a few other commitments, and was also experiencing a rare bit of car troubles, Trying to remember how that played out... And i never got around to hearing all the juicy tales of their travels either, because i guess it was no longer news the next time they played after winter break.

I hear Chicago also hosts a big band conference in December. Cementing its reputation as the windy city, i think. But yeah, perhaps i could offer up a friendly ammendment to the game thread intro to include ChiTown amongst its assets. (something like "if not for the coorage of ChiTownTwinsFan, Chicago would be lost") If we only had a wheel barrow, that would be something.

My landlord is doing the next best thing to remodelling for me: new windows. It is apparently a 2 day job. It is more like remodelling than you might think, as i had to clear out room around all the windows. I didn't really start doing that until i got up this morning, but at least i thought about it ahead of time... The fresh air tonight will be a relief! Oh, and i found my softball jersey. They shouldn't give me a hard time tomorrow. And maybe this time i'll get on base!
