    Sitting Martin is BAD baseball. I just do NOT understand this org. Wallner is in his 4th ML season......and the last 1+ have not been even close to good enough to warrant playing every day.

    I'd consider it! I'm not 100% convinced Mendoza is a franchise QB (but I think he could be?). But, no, they are taking him. 100% taking him.

    I'm the biggest Wallner apologist on this site, and I'd consider sending him to AAA. He's lost right now. Really encouraged by both rookie pitchers! I'm ready for more youth, but I think we are still 2 months from that....

    I say no. But I would trade him in a heartbeat for a top fifty pick. This team needs some youth and low cost starters.

    Lewis up, Outman gone. ERod up, Clemens gone. Culpepper up, ? (bench Wallner against lefiies, trade him or Larnach?) (Lee to St. Paul?) Do something with the back of the bullpen, no idea what. The bullpen is a mess.

    It seems like a good idea! But pretty much no teams do this.... I'd try something like this, but I doubt they do.

    Agreed. If it fails again, they can deal Burrow...... And start over.

    Agreed, but I doubt it explains a 100 percent difference..... This ownership group routinely blamed fans in the past, under St. Peter. They cut payroll right after winning a playoff series. They will have one of the lowest active payrolls in the game next year, when you deduct CC, Ryan, and Jeffers. They've lost more games than they've won the last two years. They did nothing after the deadline to convince the fans things were going on a winning direction. This is on ownership.
