Alex Meyer above Kohl Stewart is interesting to me. Maybe because Meyer is much closer to being major ready? Stewart is only 19 years old I think.

I think we sign at least one more. Might not be a big name. Maybe Korean Pitcher Suk-Min Yoon who the Twins have been linked too.(Not Garza I know) Overall, I'm happy with the moves we have made. The market has stalled with everyone waiting on Masahiro Tanaka.

Twins general manager Terry Ryan said Tuesday that while the club doesn't think Miguel Sano (elbow) will require Tommy John surgery, it hasn't been ruled out. Advice: "That would be our hope," Ryan said of Sano avoiding surgery. "Right now we don't think it is (going to require surgery), but I can't tell you for sure until we crank him up a little more." An exam last month showed that the strained UCL in Sano's right elbow was coming along well, but he'll undergo another exam soon. Sano has a shot to make his MLB debut in 2014, but an operation on his elbow would threaten those chances.

Latest report on mlbtraderumors has Tigers as favorites to sign him with Twins still in mix. I'd love having Davis as a 4th OF with that speed on the basepaths.

I understand where you are coming from. HOF voter Jayson Stark has a similar view as you. I don't think either one of us are wrong It's just a different opinion. In my mind I do think we should consider each case differently. I would not vote for players who took PED's and reward with a HOF plaque. This is what I mean by consider cases differently. Some players were caught and suspended(Rafael Palmero), some players have admitted using PED's but were never caught (Mark McGuire). Also I can argue some players would get in regardless if they took PED's or not (Bonds and Clemens). I think each voter has to weigh each case against the "character clause" that is on the ballot and decide how to vote.

I think the steroid era has overshadowed players who are worthy like Fred Mcgriff (493 homeruns). Hitting 500 homeruns used to be a BIG deal. Jack Morris won more games in the 1980's then any other pitcher. When it comes to steriods I look at each case differently. I wouldn't trade Mauer for either. I don't trust Prince Fielder's knees lasting much longer with all that weight.

Wondering what some of the Free agents we will sign. I know there is a pitcher from Korea we are looking at. Do you guys think we will get him? Suk-Min Yoon.

I am still a believer in Terry Ryan. I agree with the "Saving our chips" and I think that is what we are doing. I think this team will have a higher payroll next year. Ryan as said before "This organization needs pitchers" and I agree. The only thing is when we are making a run in 2015 with Buxton and Sano and company, we need better caliber free agent signings. Signings like Pelfrey and Correa wont cut it and, as we all know, are not even close to what we need.

Gardenhire had a conversation before he signed the extension and the understanding is that the payroll will increase. Now Terry Ryan just has to spend it which has been the problem. I like the "Less talk more do" comment on this thread. Fan patience is wearing thin and we need pitchers. Buxton and Sano are blue chip prospects but thats not enough to win a WS. We still need starting pitchers that can get through 5 innings. I think the payroll will increase for next year. I just can't see it going even lower then it already is. I'm also a huge Twins homer and at times quite gullible. ) Also my parents wouldn't let me stay up and watch game 7 of the '91 series because it was a school night. Can we please win another one so I can watch it live?
