  1. This performance tonight redefines "quality start"
  2. Can we squeeze one more inning out of Berrios tonight? He has been pretty shaky.
  3. pls stop making outs on the bases kthx edit: please stop making outs on the bases before home runs
  4. Thanks for pointing that out. One does wonder how these hurricanes are affecting players. James Rowson was let go home to Florida to be with his family right now.
  5. Grossman has had an extra base hit in each of the last four games, but he did lay down a nice sac bunt last inning
  6. The 2017 season was Eddie Del Rosario's fifth season in the organization. Del Rosario began as the Opening Day starter for Cedar Rapids, throwing six shutout innings in that game. He battled through inconsistency the first part of the year to finally earn a promotion to Ft. Myers in July. Del Rosario was inconsistent in Ft. Myers as well, and was reassigned back to Cedar Rapids after four starts to pitch in the bullpen. He was effective in relief with Cedar Rapids, throwing 6.2 scoreless innings over 5 appearances in August. For September, he was then promoted back to Ft. Myers to pitch in relief, but allowed 5 runs in his lone relief appearance there. It was truly an up-and-down year for Del Rosario.
  7. Poppen's season is complete. Poppen pitched in 14 games for Cedar Rapids, finishing with 87.0 innings and a 2.90 ERA, with 81 strikeouts and 17 walks. After a midseason promotion, Poppen then pitched in 11 regular season games for Ft. Myers, logging 52.0 innings with a 3.63 ERA. Forty-one strikeouts and eight walks. In the postseason final game for Ft. Myers, he pitched six more innings, allowing 2 runs on 7 hits. By the numbers, his season was a success. Assuming he continues with baseball next season, there's a strong chance the Twins assign him to AA-Chattanooga at some point.
  8. Authenticated Joe Mauer foul balls are going for $90,000 on the open market
  9. Kintzler? He has been effective for the Nats.
  10. No, look like he's here to stay for a while. Time to tinker with the leg kick again, unfortunately.
  11. Didn't hear audio on that. I imagine all announcers were Bremering
  12. KC drops another 9th inning fly ball
  13. Et tu, Escobar? We need a big hit, badly
  14. Play for the tie at home, the win on the road Oh wait
