Houston collapsed and is on the outside looking in. Toronto is also collapsing, but already locked up a playoff spot. I expect the Yankees to overtake Toronto and win the East, and Toronto to bow out in the wild card round.

José Berríos goes to the Injured List. Something that has never been said before. Bravo. He's been pretty good and incredibly healthy. He has also made more starts as a Blue Jay now than he did as a Twin. He is in his 10th season. It is elbow inflammation. Hopefully nothing serious.

I give this team a 50/50 chance to make a run at .500 and a wild card next year, but two necessary steps would be keeping all their starting pitchers, and bringing in a better manager and philosophy and coaching staff.
