  1. At this stage of the Twins team development I will give Zoll the benefit of the doubt for 2026 and give him a C grade. But in 2027 I expect some serious improvement with the team including making the playoffs or Zoll should be gone. The man has been riding the Falvey coat-tails for better or worse and it is time he steps out and shows us why he should keep the job.
  2. I say no to giving Jeffers a qualifying offer because he obviously wants to test free agency. But a real owner takes that money and uses it to sign a free agent.
  3. The opportunity cost to acquire a lefty like Minter is relatively low so the trade makes sense to me.
  4. A proven front-line starter is better than two (or three) potential prospects in the bush leagues. No, you don't trade Joe Ryan.
  5. If the Twins don't want to gve Fedko a decent opportunity than they have deemed him unplayable and should either DFA or trade him. That seems the fair thing to do for any player in that position.
  6. No question in my feeble mind, Culpepper has earned a call-up.
  7. The Twins are playing just like I expected with what they have and new mangement. I wouldn't go crazy making trades unless someone gives you a deal to knock our socks off and I don't trade Ryan at all. If Buxton wants to move on I let him if the return is top notch, he has earned that right. But I think he wants to go in the books as a Twins great and lifer.
  8. If you are a team in MLB you are there to win games. You win games by having the best players. If one of your best players is in your minor league system, bring his butt up and let's see what he can do. If he is ready, that is great. If he still appears to need more seasoning then send him back down. Don't waste a good players precious time in the minors.
  9. The best first baseman currently on the Twins roster (and that is not saying a whole lot) is Clemens and he should be playing every day until the Twins bring up up some youngster that proves he can take over from Clemens. Bell is doing nothing but they say he gets hot after the AS break or right after the Twins trade/dump him.
