    Is there anyone who can find and/or post video of Hawk Harrelson's call on Rios's warning track out to end the game? I'd be forever grateful. I guess Rios didn't have TWTW today.

    Even though he took the loss tonight, what a complete game performance by Slegers. Really enjoyed watching him throw harder as the game got more intense and allowing only one run through 9 innings. Sure hope they can sign the redshirt sophomore soon. Below is Baseball America's Aaron Fitt's analysis; Likewise, Slegers broke out his changeup effectively in the late innings after pounding the zone with his 89-90 fastball and good 81-83 slider for most of the game. He seemed to get stronger as the game went on, touching 92-93 in the eighth inning. He struck out just one batter through 7 1/3 innings, then recorded four of his final five outs with strikeouts.

    Yahoo! Says the Royals are throwing Wade Davis vs the Twins on Thursday. I hope they're right.

    Obviously watching Mauer is a treat but it's also exciting seeing Herrmann's versatility in the bigs and Pinto's great season in New Britain. Also, McGuire at #4 has to be put into context on how the rest of the draft goes. In my humble opinion of course.

    Hicks is improving week by week and I never heard anyone say he was going to be a great center fielder right off the bat after skipping AAA. It takes time and if there's ever a season to see players develop it's 2013.

    The 2014 #1 QB recruit Kyle Allen surprised everyone today and with no deadline just announced on Twitter that he has committed to play at Texas A & M.Interesting timing with Kohl Stewart and his advisors attempts at leverage and such.May not have an impact but everything does just 3 days before the draft.

    Bryant 4th and final AB. Slow roller to 3rd that he nearly beat out. Good speed and effort being down 6-0 in the 9th. I must say, very impressive 0-4 and keep in mind UCLA threw a combined 1 hitter to advance to Super Regionals. Good example of how a box score doesn't tell the story. Any other ballpark and he's 2-4 with 2 HR's. I would be very happy if the Twins ended up with him and if not hopefully he stays out of the American League.

    Bryant 3rd AB. Flew out to opposite field fence, mere foot away from a HR.

    Bryant 2nd AB. Flew out to dead center field warning track. Probably a HR in any other ballpark. Also made a nifty barehanded play to throw runner out on a bunt attempt.

    Bryant 1st AB struck out looking on a questionable strike 3. My free, on the couch and completely amature scouting take is that he is a tall kid. In depth analysis, I know. His numbers are obviously incredible.

    Could be his last game at San Diego if they lose tonight. Jackie Robinson Field, where UCLA plays, is a tough place to hit home runs at night with the heavy marine layer that comes in off the ocean.

    I think Law is very dialed in and if his mock has the Twins taking Stewart over Gray if both are available, I think it's a strong indicator that very well may happen. It also means if Gray isn't available the Twins will still get their true target in Stewart.

    I'm trying to get a read on who Jeremy "wants" the Twins to pick as a fan. He was the first to predict Stewart to the Twins so that may be an indication. I'm starting to convince myself to be pleased when they take McGuire at 4 and hopefully get a high value player in the 2nd round.

    Tough first start at AA for DJ, still excited about his start with the organization though. Gotta like what Tomshaw is showing after being a 42nd round draft pick two years ago.
