    After the success enjoyed by the Twins, and, by extension, SampleSizeof1, who, by the way, has a 4-0 record on this home stand, I'm not feeling sanguine about taking over for SSo1 over the next few days. Some random observations from the game yesterday; 1. Nice to see Odorizzi go 6 innings. 2. Nice to see the Twins sweep. 3. Garver going deep is good. 4. It may have been a good spot to use Mr. Belisle but, I still don't like that he's on the team. 5. Escobar came oh so close to hitting the car. Maybe next time. Play ball! Pitching:

    That bunt hit by Morrison was a thing of beauty. Good job, sir!

    I just going to toss this red meat among the Twins faithful: I don't think Gibson should be traded for anything less than a king's ransom. Gibson has show some toughness in his starts the team needs. He's set a good example on the mound this year and I don't think that's something to be set aside lightly. And now, I shall await the rending of clothing and gnashing of teeth.

    I think we're on the same page. I don't believe there will be no market, I just wonder if there will be enough of a market for anything the Twins have to offer. Kind of astounding how fast the market has changed, I must admit.

    I'm going to guess the Twins don't do much at the trade deadline. Not because they wouldn't like to, but, rather, it's going to be due to a lack of interest. Bremer actually made what I think was an astute observation when he wondered if there is really going to be any sort of trade deadline market this year. I have to admit, after the non-existent FA market this last year, Mr Bremer may be on to something. Things have changed when it comes to player trades. Should be an interesting trade deadline this year.

    Well, it's long been acknowledged that Rock has it's roots in the Blues. For instance, Aerosmith may have been a rock band but their stuff definitely was definitely Blues based.

    Ah, I got it. Hide N Go Seek. I lived a Mayberry RFD life growing up and playing outside with the other kids in the neighborhood was a given.

    Okay, how about this? If Jake Cave is the real deal, trade Buxton? Or, drop Grossman and make Cave the 4th outfielder and keep him in games by rotating him through the outfield spots?

    Favorite childhood game? Considering the whirling dervish that I was as a kid, I don't think I sat still long enough to focus on any particular game.
