    I was in Chicago once. Played in the "Windy City Open." Wound up walking around on the hotel roof after one of the patrons got a window open. I saw a guy using a valet to have his luggage taken up to his room. The luggage consisted of a small overnight bag and several cases of beer. Also got hit on by a stripper. (I think she thought I had money or she was desperate) Nice gal, good looking, working her way through college. It was my first encounter with someone who was employed as such. At the time, I didn't know that was the "stripper standard statement" By 9pm every single ice machine on every floor was empty in the hotel. No, the guy with the overnight bag and beer was not atypical.

    Not to nitpick or anything, well, okay, I'm going to nitpick but that at bat where Kepler struck out, it looked to me like Kepler thought he had to swing at anything low and away after that first called "strike."

    No worries. I think it's funny, myself, and will probably laugh even if it did turn out to be serious. I've had health issues all my life and this is just one more thing for me to deal with and then continue on my merry way.

    Seriously, though, I have an irregular heartbeat and and will be seeing a cardiologist pretty soon. No big deal. coughcough,gaaaack, thud... Although, all kidding aside, it potentially could be something which is why it is probably wise Mr. Martinez is on the DL.

    I've been diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat. I was quite surprised and so were a lot of people. Mainly because most people assumed I didn't even have a heart...

    I don't think the Twins have ever had trouble identifying and drafting talent. I believe the problem has been how players are managed and developed in the minor leagues.
