  1. If Pelfrey continues to perform, he will earn his two year contract in 1 year.
  2. I have to second your opinion. The article had the makings of a decent piece, but the author let his snarkego get away from him.
  3. I'd like to know why the Twins didn't drug test Santana. Or, if the Twins did test Santana, how did they miss the steroids?
  4. Rosario and Hicks for the win!?!? Pelfrey goes toe to toe with Buckholtz? Tied for first with KC? Mass hysteria, cats and dogs sleeping together...
  5. Milwaukee sounds good. I'm sure I can work in Gomez, beer, brauts and cheese somehow.
  6. That was a baseball swing! Go Aaron!
  7. I'll try KC. Pick a date and I'll go wild. Or mild. Anyway, there's a KC fan where I work and I plan to share. Because I'm nice that way.
  8. Plouffester!!* *reaction to defensive play, not dp grounder.
  9. That's exactly what I'm hearing from the broadcast.
  10. The Boston broadcast isn't too bad, surprisingly.
  11. with mlb.tv you get the beantown broadcast. However, living where I live, it's a bit difficult to hit the ballpark.
  12. 2 bizarre things happened last night. 1. The Twins won a low scoring game. 2. The pitcher on the mound at the time was Mike Pelfrey. Huh? It is all well and good to pound out a lot of runs. However, at some point, the Twins need someone on the staff to step up and go toe to toe with the likes of a Clay Buckholtz. We've not seen that happen for a while. I, for one, plan to savor last night.
  13. Perkins definitely. I think Dozier has earned an All Star nod. Plouffe is getting there. Plouffe is a complete player at 3B who looks to only get better. Which is kind of scary, considering how good Plouffe has become.
  14. It was intended as a gentle rib of Seth. I'm enjoying the ride and having a few laughs. Unlike White Sox fans.
  15. Seth, Pelfrey is having a career year so far.
  16. After a couple of the plays Plouffe has made tonight, I think the idea that Sano is huge upgrade at 3B has been put safely to rest.
  17. Let me see, subtract two, carry the five using the additive method and divide by three...6:30 pm start here in CA? (I worry that someone will check my math, which is why I phrased my answer in the form of a question)
  18. It is nice to see a competent center fielder playing for the Twins.
  19. Ah, I see. Well, let's hope the Twins in general and Brian Dozier in particular drop the hammer on the Red Sox.
  20. I don't think the AL East is very strong this year. I honestly think the Worlds Series contestants will come out of the Al Central and the NL West.
  21. I posted before I realized that I could have edited the quote. Then I thought, eh, why not?
  22. So, I check mlb.com...Mr. B. Dozier is getting absolutely no love. 2 dingers and 4 rbi's in a route of the Sox and nothing, nada, zilch. It's a conspiracy of silence. According to mlb.com stats, Mr. Dozier leads all 2B's in home runs, is third in rbi's, tied for 2nd in triples and leads all 2b's in runs scored. All while playing stellar defense. I think the Twins got a bargain with the contract extension.
  23. During your marriage, you've seen more sickness than health.
  24. I posted something similar to that on the Sox board. I think that one got me banned. I'm cool with that.
