  1. On another note, I think the Twins need to find a way to sit Brian Dozier for a game or two. I think Dozier is worn down and needs a break. Which leads me to what I think was a serious managerial mistake by Moliltor. Dozier should have been rested more earlier in the season when the Twins could have afforded to have Dozier out of the lineup. (Last year's post All Star performance by Brian Dozier should have been an indicator) This late in the season isn't the time to take Mr. Dozier out of the lineup but, unfortunately, I think it needs to be done.
  2. Twins go on a tear, KC face-plants, Twins win the division. (I also believe in Santa, the Tooth Fairy and the small of a woman's back)
  3. Wow, that last inning, a couple of the Sox players had "get me out of here" at bats.
  4. Yeah, but have you seen me drive?
  5. I drive the slow bus, so, you're not alone.
  6. Chris Sale may demand to be traded to the Twins so he doesn't have to face them any more.
  7. On a more serious note, I wonder how tough it is to pitch with a 4 run lead in the first, knowing that may be all the run support one gets.
  8. Hot dogs and baseball aren't really weird enough for a game thread. Unless, of course, the discussion revolves around putting weird and strange substances on a hot dog. Like ketchup.
  9. Heretics are usually shunned, so, you will probably avoid any discussion about the proper garnishment of hot dogs.
  10. Well, as long as the Sox have to field the ball, the Twins are in the game.
  11. Speaks volumes about the Sox and Sox marketing.
  12. Figuring Chicago had 20,000 of those, umm, covers to give away, from the looks of the stands, Chicago probably has 8,000 or 9,000 left for next year.
  13. by the way, that botched rundown by the Sox made me laugh out loud. Pure comedy gold.
  14. mlb.tv has decided to cooperate, for now. Go Twins!
  15. mlb.tv is giving me fits again. Sigh.
  16. Hrbowski, wow, a veritable pantheon of enemies in your post. Twins fans in particular and MN sports fans in general will be booing at their computers.
  17. Wait, it's cold in early September? Going to be an early winter. Cool, they'll have to plow Target Field for the Word Series! Did I mention I think it would be awesome if the Dodgers had to come to MN for the Series? Nothing like a warm weather team in MN during a cold snap.
  18. Someone might have written a game thread referencing this very same phenomena.
  19. crap, my mlb.com feed isn't working. Arggh!!!
  20. I see ChiTown chose wisely. Those seats are probably well beyond even the wildest throw by a Sox fielder.
  21. Twins Daily game threads: "Come for the baseball conversation, stay for the weird."
  22. Sid is still alive? Or is Sid perhaps "Weekend at Bernie's" alive?
