    So, I'm in the IT biz...just had a user, friend of mine..well, might be "used to be a friend of mine" send me an email asking how to enable cookies. I replied: Look for a button that says “macaroons” once you find that button, click on it and select “enable cookies” What the heck, a little IT snipe hunting never hurt anyone, right?

    I was excited about this season. I'm no longer excited about the season, instead, my interest is more on the morbid side.

    I was expecting some regression to around 78 games. However, at the rate the Twins are going, that may be an optimistic win total. (if you look at Streak Analyzer, the numbers are brutal for teams that start 0-6. I'm going to check 0-8 tomorrow)

    Last year, we really didn't have expectations and were pleasantly surprised. This year, we have expectations and have been unpleasantly surprised. However, at this rate, we're going to lower our expectations below the expectations of last year.

    Anecdote time, sonny: Years ago, just after the glaciers retreated, I set a buddy of mine up with a gal I knew. (not in the Biblical sense, get your mind out of the gutter) Anyway, she was an uptown party type girl and he was a hunting and fishing kind of guy. She wound up going hunting and fishing and enjoyed it. If memory serves, she even went bow hunting.* Last I heard, she was quite the outdoorswoman. (This was back when I lived in the Twins Cities area) *Time frame somewhat exaggerated to protect those still living.
