  1. Sano ranks 12th all time in home runs for the Twins, right behind Tom Brunansky and right ahead of Max Kepler. He finished 3rd in Rookie of the Year voting in 2015 and was an All-Star in 2017. Sano never made a ton of money, or signed a contract that affected the Twins' plans or the roster alignment. He made some errors at 3rd base but also made some dazzling plays as well that for some reason aren't talked about. The guy hit some huge home runs, including this legendary grand slam in Cleveland to ice the division in 2019. He was never called a bad teammate or a problem in the clubhouse. By all accounts he was trying his best, even during his struggles. To see Miguel Sano being made fun of in this manner? It kinda misses the mark for me. I know some people enjoy making fun of ballplayers for various reasons, but I never understood the hate for Sano. The guy was a real star for this franchise for a couple years.
  2. Agree. Let's lock down game 1. Game 2 you're playing with house money.
  3. How is Keirsey still on the major league roster? I think we've seen enough. He's got options, the Twins have plenty of guys in AAA who can't be worse.
  4. How many blown games for Jax this year? Larnach with that leadoff double last inning and didn't move an inch. Now you see what happens when you don't play fundamentally sound baseball.
  5. How the Twins have scored 3 runs off Hicks is beyond me. This guy's stuff is nasty.
  6. I am sorry for ruining Paddack's no hitter.
  7. Don't know how Larnach could have hit that pitch. Nasty.
  8. I'll say it: Bader needs to be playing every day. He's outplayed just about everyone on this team so far.
  9. Lee's right-handed swings look awkward. Almost like his hands are stuck to his chest or something.
  10. Major league hitters get the guy to 3rd here. Or at least put the ball in play.
  11. Ooof, yes they are. Yikes. .180 with the game on the line. Here we go.
  12. Agreed, he glaringly does not belong on this or any other MLB roster at this point in the year.
  13. Ooooh, Jax time. Morneau says "the stuff is there and you can trust him in these spots". Let's see.
  14. A whiff. Upper cut swing on balls in on the hands rarely result in contact.
  15. Kremer and his 8.31 road ERA is tossing an absolute gem against our feeble Twins.
