  1. I lived on Aldrich about a half a block from Franklin. Leaning Tower is probably where I went the most, then Lyle's and in the summer, while it still existed Two Pesos with their 99 cent margaritas and their big open garage doors. It was nice to be within walking distance of Sebastian Joe's so I could go on off times and avoid the lines.
  2. This might be my favorite (I might have gone there more than Liquor Lyle's back in the day). Bridgeman's butter brickle a sentimental favorite from childhood, and I do like a good vanilla with some quality hot fudge.
  3. I think most of the posts are done by people NOT under the influence of a controlled substance, which might be a little scary or unsettling when you think about it.
  4. The things you find on the internet, sadly - not quite a brownie and thankfully not a ham ice cream sandwichhttp://www.thatstwinsbaseball.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/jmoaercook.png.
  5. Yes - no frosting -- ice cream on top on the other hand...
  6. The Twins are a timely classic that knows how to drive the right way.http://bransonticket.com/sites/bransonticket.com/files/ralph-foster-museum.jpg
  7. I bet if he ever asked "Can I help you" it would be in an a-hole fashion.
  8. Or Tommy Milone being the Twins starter in game 1 of the 2015 World Series (while dating Kathy Ireland - due to her being on the rebound from RB).
  9. This guy has some a-hole tendencieshttp://www.shirtofun.com/image/cache/data/Gods-busy_rect-500x500.jpg:
  10. It is hard to imagine the serious, more mature, older person posting here was once kind of a smart ass who liked to make jokes.
  11. I actually preferred the Baily, the Mary Ann of the show. Here they are in what I think is the soft ball episode (Jennifer's shorts were a plot point) -- which if fitting for this forum. http://i.imgur.com/n8oo5.jpg
  12. Similar to the godless tornadoes - the horrible monster lizard https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wML2V6crNc0
  13. Johnnie would have to sometimes give emergency updates when Les was out of commission by falling turkeys or looking for communists or receiving prestigious hog report awards.. I do remember Les's sports reporting. I think he was an early proponent of advanced saber-metrics I remember Pete Rose guesting and they got into a big argument about BABIP (before the gambling scandel).
  14. Are you really Dr. Johnnie Fever?
  15. Probably. I think it is starting to show some signs the end is not that far off, so I am guessing it was something on my end. Or perhaps, like a certain team, my computer just could not handle the scorching stuff that was coming from Liam Hendricks.
  16. Anyone have problems with the webpage last night? After I got home and tried to follow during the game, I got a front page that seemed a few days old, and I was signed out and would get timed out if I tried to sign on. I figured it was the webpage, but when I checked this morning, it looks like people were able to post throughout the game. ! am assuming I might have angered a moderator who was a big Crocodile Dundee fan, but was curious to see if anyone else had issues.
  17. That makes sense, there was so much left unexplored in the first two movies and I am guessing the third movie focused on the strengths of the first two and built on that. If my memory is correct, most 1980 movie franchisees that had a 3 at the end were top notch and fresh (and often in a primitive 3-D technology). Hopefully Liam's pitching will have a similar quality as this movie.
  18. They both secretly post comments on this website?
  19. I will never be able to watch Princess Bride or All in the Family again without them being tainted by the bile he created with this loss.
  20. Perkins has gotten out of a few jams this year with people on base. I suppose he was overdue to get burned. I am not sure whether to blame Stringer or Rob Reiner. Does this mean Stringer is really Meathead?
  21. You would not have needed to look for an OB GYN if you would have practiced safe moderating at your recent moderator social events.
  22. All in the Family is on Antenna TV at 8:00. If necessary, I will turn it on and see if that helps. They are on the older, in my opinion, funnier episodes, so I think I can handle the sacrifice of spending time with Meathead and the crew.
  23. True - and when I think back to spring, I think I was thinking while 500 would be nice -- anything from mid-70's up would be a sign the bus was turning around.
  24. Not to state the obvious - but it is too bad Mauer lost those 6 weeks to the oblique. I don't think we would necessarily be play-off bound, but the record might be more mediocre than its current dismal. Plus, I suspect he would be over 300 now, or approaching it.
