  1. That's true. One win and I completely lose my senses!
  2. When I don't watch, they win. See you guys in October, lol.
  3. This is a team that expects to lose and a manager that has no what he's doing.
  4. The one run loss thing is mind boggling to me. For a team to be so bad in close games...
  5. Duran is another mental midget. In a big spot, he wilts.
  6. I thought Rod was still alive back then. Title said it all. Gave me nightmares.
  7. Shatner and the airplane... Also the one with the talking doll. I think it was with Telly Savalas.
  8. Fair point. Relying on the two out hit isn't exactly a wise move.
  9. Wallner is lumbering and slow. I can see not sending him.
  10. My wife is convinced that Correa and Audra Martin are sleeping together based on body language during their post game interviews.
  11. The Pohlads need to step in. They won't. But this is just awful.
  12. Falvey is the absolute master of using way too many words to say absolutely nothing of substance. Case in point... “It’s just making sure no one runs away from the work that is right in front of him, and Rocco is not running away from any of the work. … We’re all side by side with him, as is the staff and as our core players,” Falvey told Hayes. “We’re trying to figure it out together.” It's the end of June. The time for figuring things out was in spring training. And how would one even 'run away' from the work - resign, quit? It's just complete nonsense. While Rocco's on the front line for criticism, and some of it justified, Falvey's decisions are probably more responsible for the Twins' failures than Rocco's managing.
  13. It isn't just the pitching pipeline... This team has had Jonah Bride, Kody Clemens, and DaShawn Kiersey on the big league roster for much of the season. Julien and Miranda may not make it back to the majors. Wallner looks like he's headed down the same path as those two guys. Overall, this has been a systemic failure in terms of drafting, player development, roster building, etc.. In some respects, Falvey's done a better job with the pitching than he has the position players and that is absolutely terrifying.
