  1. First off, I am not a Lewis hater. I have actually met him and spoke with the dude via a conversation in Oakland last year...And...spoke with his grandma in Anahiem. My challenge is the Twins placing him in a role and doing these "reps" mid-season. They have a 212 BA player in a position that he has never played before... mid-season in hopes that he will learn and improve his hitting at the major league level. That is not what a major league team does. It is mindboggling to me. Again, I am not a hater...believe me...I want him to succeed... the answer to your point is Clemens.. but he seems to be needed in this jigsaw lineup ...people bashed him also. Nobody would have guessed that keashall would now be an outfielder. Best to wait and see how Lewis does the next few months.. in fielding and hitting...
  2. Well...reread your comment, it related to Bell being traded and stated nothing about Wallner. I like Lewis as a cheerleader and hope he improves. ...just feel a 212 hitter "learning" a position mid-season may be unwise for a professional baseball team. I also do not see much of a difference defensively between the two.
  3. The all star game and the trade deadline are rapidly approaching. Bell, Ryan, Larnach, Clemens have shown value as candidates. I just hate to see some of them depart but they will require more $ next year as their value will increase.
  4. His hitting has won many games and he sits at 59 RBIs. I do not see that much of a difference between him and Lewis at first.
  5. Good article. It is tough, since he is a local. I still miss Varland. My thoughts turned to Miranda, who remains in the minors with the Padres. I am waiting for Lewis to fully prove himself also.
  6. Fingers 🤞 need a series win on Sunday at this stadium....first one in 12 years
  7. peacock is streaming every major league game on Sunday
  8. If you see her in person....she is very personable...but the makeup..pretty heavy
  9. Probably Keaschall also..Yankees do now permit facial hair..did not under George
  10. Bell and Raya would need haircuts if they were Yankees
  11. After the horrible curse that the Yankees given the Twins with over the years....Happy Birthday America....wow..this is fun to watch. My hats off to Bell and Clemens...proving that are individuals that have proven to be keepers and worth their salaries...also Larnach
  12. On to New York...be nice to win 2 of 3 due to their injuries
  13. Well...depends on the city or club/team...went a rough Dodgers game last year...lived in Spain and England...Brit crowds are tough at times..Spainards are MUCH better
  14. American football players could not handle Rugby
  15. I must admit that I did not believe the Twins would be playing this well...they are in striking distance of being a 500 team at the all star break......Heard the broadcaster for the World Cup game gave the analysis that the USA team had BIG BALLS...don't think that I have ever heard a broadcaster coin that phrase
  16. You get tossed out of the game PLUS you have to sit out the next one...uffdahh..Gardy would have missed many
