    Well....I believe that Bret Boone's last MLB team before retirement was the Twins in July of 2005...he closed a good career with the Twins..and several notable teammates that year

    Recent article validates that the season ticket sales this year are at an all time low. I am a transplanted Twins fan who has followed them religiously since 1965 despite living in southern California including attending the World Series. With this news, I am looking at switching to the Padres. Unless the Pohlads actually show some dedication this winter, I just can't continued to follow the team during my retirement years. My annual trip back to the Twin Cities to see my grandkids and take them to Target Field will halt or probably be transplanted to St. Paul. The whole thing saddens me greatly.
