    Good point..There is a population base in northern Florida. They have a huge tourist area and support 2 NFL teams. The old stadium was located in an unusual spot. It would be better placed in St. Petersburg. One other point,,,.Remember that the Nationals and Angels were up for sale and withdrew the sale also.

    I could not figure out how the Rays could sell the team without a stadium for 1.7 billion and the Twins had no takers. I am wondering if the Pohlads could be considered a modern-day Charles Comiskey.

    Next year at this time, he could be looking at the 2027 strike season. I love baseball and hate to see how they have fallen so far behind football, baseball...soccer will be next.

    Well, it would bring in a better gate for the Pohlads when they play the Brewers. Salt Lake City and Nashville have been rumored to be possible new teams.
