  1. Guy mowing Twins down. Gives up two hits and they take him out. Good to know other managers do dumb things. 5 1/;3 inning. Jeesh.
  2. DeLeon pitching well. Then couple little singles. Those happen. Pagan comes in and walks happen.? Then HR. Good move huh? Still could have won 2 of 3 except for fouls called fair and balls way out of zone called strikes in first game.
  3. I definitely thought leave the guy in who’s throwing strikes and struck out two ace hitters. Pagan might be back to his old self. I wish Bremer would just can the talk of how good someone did in the past in a situation like that. It always goes right down the tubes. Doesn’t have to make sense it just happens.
  4. I’d say Twins made their bones in this series. What with the shoulda been great comeback first game and nemesis ump (S)Cuzzi taking the bat out of Kirilloff hands in SF situation that ended up would have won the game. Then last night. Win today would be gravy and we have Sonny.. Good article here by Braun but here’s two nitpicks for him. Did Solano throw out Muncy at home because I remember the throw coming from second. And onerous is an adjective. Onus is a noun and I think the word you were looking for.
  5. If they can hang on will mean the series can’t be a disaster despite the ump assisted one game disaster last night.
  6. Now this ump squeezes Ober a bit. Let’s hope not as bad or key as last night.
  7. Who are these people ragging the Twins as if they didn’t play well? Alex should have had two more swings to get no more than a score on a SF situation. And it would be a win by now. Complete fault of horrible two strike calls by ump. Way out of of the onscreen box.
  8. Anybody awake in the Central time zone? Know this. Kirriloff got hurt bad bad bad by the ump on a SF situation for a 2 run lead . Is it gonna cost the game?
  9. Bad luck on the rbi. Bad pitch to give up the previous double.
  10. I’d have like to see Correa swing at the 3-0 last inning? I don’t think they swing at those nearly enough in general. But then would have Larnach happened this inning?
  11. So I missed the play by play of the inning when in the other room and hearing about fruit loop hotdogs. Was there any.? Play by play I mean. I am anyway constantly yelling at the screen “Call the MF game!”
  12. Good AB Miranda. Watch a hittable pitch and swing at one a mile outside and two miles high for the SO. They gotta get past this being dumb and unlucky streak.
  13. More dumb. They fail to get a guy to second so our pitcher gives it to them.
  14. Dumb of Jeffers to get thrown out at third with two outs. Dumb to challenge that . Then they got no challenge when they needed it. That’s the dumb. Then the luck. Bux misses a line drive homer by a foot. After we lost a game recently because of a Polo missed homer by half an inch. Now this inning Correa and Bux way too anxious with BL no outs. We need better luck and better smarts.
  15. I Montdak saw something where you replied reacted or something but don’t know how to see it.

  16. You quoted me montdak whatever that means.  Where do I see that?

  17. Is there something wrong with his head or is it his eyes? He strikes out like Sano. What’s annoying is that after all his injuries maybe not his fault this knee goes back to a dumb move of not making up his mind to slide or not and so coming up with a flop. Duffy? After this Tuesday night of more nibbling, aiming, yanking, walking and choking what? Maybe Rocco finally grasped that he can’t be used in big spots until something changes if it ever does.
  18. When he comes in with these big leads what does he always do. Starts cautiously nibbling like he’s pitching to Murderers Row in a tight game no matter who he’s pitching to and then walks guys. Just throw strikes at least till they get themselves on base once or twice. Odds are they’ll get themselves out.
  19. I don’t understand the wailing and gnashing of teeth about him being sent down. I too originally thought Miranda but then it’s pointed out that Lewis can’t play other positions so much. Surely he can play second but St Paul and playing every day and some reps at third or outfield or whatever might be best for a while. He’s still young, lost all that time, needs to play and has one of THE best shortstops playing his position . He’ll be a Twin SOON.
  20. If only Lewis could play all infield positions. Like first. Then Miranda rightfully could have been the one to go down. Lewis will be back soon one way or the other. Sano “poor start.” Could just leave off “start.” A guy that strikes out about every time is an albatross. If he somehow can’t be sent down until he can hit maybe he can be on some rehab the rest of the year learning to hit? Maybe be reborn again next year strong.
  21. Isn’t there a place to make and read comments about the game in progress in real-time?

@Montdak Pinned to the top of the Minnesota Twins Talk forum there is always a game thread. Sometimes it's not up until later in the day but it's always there by game time.

  22. How did we lose? Lewis at bat, bases loaded or first and third.  No outs. Asked to bunt.  Twice.  Jabs at it twice. Why ask?  Nobody can bunt any more. What’s so hard about “catching” the ball with soft hands and give rather than jabbing?

The other one is Urshela with bases loaded and no outs and the pitcher struggling to throw strikes. Figured he’d take a pitch.  Instead check swing double play.
