    The owners deliberately made this years team worse than last years team. They forced the front office to trade for damaged players and for players opposing teams were willing to pay a large amount of salary for the Twins to take them off of their roster. This is the team Rocco has to play games with. I keep being reminded of the "inning eater"pitchers Terry Ryan used to trade for. Why not just come out and say it?.......we have to play 9 innings so we need SOMEBODY on the field. That's as close to defending Rocco as I will get. His press conferences are as exciting as white bread. I can imagine his locker room presence isn't much more exciting.

    Thanks SSOO, I try to stay positive but when the team plays bad defense it seems the pitching and hitting goes bad also. And they have been playing bad defense lately. Attitude is everything and hopefully the players (and fans) can get upbeat and confident so the outlook isn't so drab. Bibee is a heck of a good pitcher and since I expect the Twins to have to scratch for every hit and run they will score 7 today. I like Paddock and feel much better about the trade that brought him here.

    Does anyone know if the Twins employ advance scouts anymore? They sure seem to be behind the 8 ball when it comes to making adjustments. It's not all on Rocco but geez louise they have 3 hitting coaches and are getting shut out for the 3rd time in 4 games. 11 to zero against their rival, ANd the cherry on top, Smalley is stuttering and strammering more this year than ever before. He is unlistenable.

    I saw the same misplays last night at my grandsons little league game for 11-12 year olds.

    Sometimes wins for relievers is like a backhanded compliment. It's not a compliment. Sonny Gray finished second in the Cy Young award last year despite a so so win/loss record. The professionals are paying attention to performance, not the record. I understand your point but SWR getting the win would require human intervention and scoring and there is enough controversy with the strike zone and hits verses errors involving human opinion. I get your point though, SWR deserved the win last night.

    I bought Fubo in order to get the Twins. Perhaps we can add a re-enactment feature to this site and we can do the play by play for everybody that does not get to watch the Twins.

    Highschool umpire conundrum......after the dropped ball the umpire should wave his hands and yell "drop ball, not out" and let it play out. Margot is my DFA candidate. He sure isn't a center fielder nor a good hitter at the moment.

    Chief, why are you so down on the Twins clean-up hitter? Only 15 more points in batting average and he gets to the Mendoza line.
