    terry(curly) ryan was a good scout , not much good as a general manager, same for ron (larry )gardenhire he was a good coach for tom kelly but has not been a good manager,and last but not least the media major from dakota u. and former twins pro shop manager david (moe) st pete ...these are the 3 personal that need to be moved during the off season ...with curly trading our long time players look for us to end up with the short end of the stick,also ryan has said he is looking at other teams 6th and 7 th starters and cast offs,add in an over the hill use to be or a recycled never was and thats what curly will bring to this team

    if the twins trade joe , they need to look at texas, there in the win now mode, and they have a pair of kids at 3b and ss in olt and profar,who are blocked in the rangers org.and with hamilton coming off there payroll joe might look attractive,if we trade joe we need to trade justin to tornto for there AAA catcher dárnaud, yes we might have to throw in a few prospects like escobar hernandez or florimon but it would give us some solid players for the future... if ownership is not going to go for it in 2013 , they might as well build towards 2014 - 2015, so we might as well trade willingham to pittsburg for there prize pitching prospects cole and taillon, then span to the reds for hamilton (ss) and cingriani as long as we hold on to our top 5 prospects i am fine trading all the others except gibson....so either go after shields and another top of the rotation starter this year and 3 more quality relievers and maybe another quality middle infielder,or tear it down and look to the future

    the difference between shields and baker is shields has an out pitch , and gives you 200+ innings where scotty , well not lately....did johnson ever recover his velocity he lost mid season? to me its shield ove johnson , id trade our minor leaque pitcher of the year and span for him

    im guessing we sign nothing but has beens or never weres... its the twins way , so if we wont shell out for starters , at least they can do is get 3-4 more quality relievers...and if frankie is cheap enough and willing why not try him as a 1 inning reliever instead of a long man out of the pen? i remember watching him prior to being sent to the pen last year and wondering ,geez the 1st inning he is lights out and by the 2nd or 3rd inning i want to hang him...

    how about darren mastroanni? that is the real question,with all the ground balls he has taken at 2nd , why is he not given a shot this september to fill a hole in our infield?

    once again ron gardenhire is showing his true colors.....jamie carroll is a utility player...he is a very good utility player,this year he has had more at bats at age 38 then any time in his career, like nick punto and many others ronnie wants to make them starters which they are not...carroll needs to be what he has always been ,and always will be, a good solid replacementfor the infield go jaime

    with tampa wanting to trim payroll and open to trading shields... why not span to tampa?even if we threw in the 2 rejects from chicago hernadez and escober? then add a jackson and sanchez.....plus a pair of quality relievers and a middle infielder and we have a start to the 2013 season,for around 105.000,000

    1)i see you blame bill smith ,even though it is known that terry ryan was his advisior and made all of the transactions during smith tenoras g.m. 2)guessing what terry(curly) ryan will do is never posible, as he seems to luv soft tossing pitchers, and last night crapps only could muster 89-90 mph

    6 in ten years is churning out? and 2 of these 6 are still questionable....twins need to fire the entire system and hire real baseball people ones that can teach....

    with the rays looking to hold down payroll and b.j. upton not a sure bet to return , maybe span to tampa for shields , he has 2 option years at a combined 23 million,he was ranked last week as the #13th best starterin mlb, add in diamond and deuno as your 3rd and 4th starter, that leaves you searching for a true number 2, not pavano , not baker ,not marquis... but a true #2, signing scott baker to an incentive ladden contract with a option year is a given , between baker and gibson , 1 should be able to come at the end of may or june to replace ,and contribute to the rotation, that leave middle infield hep and at least 2 quality reliever we need to add for next year

    it is apperent you do not know.....you judge a manager on results....there are more questions now then in march.young players come up and struggle , they do not learn anything up here ,because gardy and staff can not teach....hence gardy is not a manager
