    The López trade last year moved everyone in the rotation down a notch, strengthening the rotation. You saw what happened. this trade moves everyone in the rotation up a notch. im not optimistic on our rotation this year if this is their big move.

    I hear way too much about Julian’s exceptional eye at the plate. Granted he walks a ton. But anyone with an exceptional eye at the plate would not watch nearly as many called third strikes as he does. That’s not a great eye, it’s standing in the box hoping the pitcher throws a ball. hopefully he can cut down on his strikeouts this season

    Not sure a healthy Buxton is anything special anymore. Might just be a good field no hit outfielder.

    Of the 7 listed, none are higher than high A. That’s find if frustrating. Doesn’t show well for immediate reinforcements if someone goes down on the Twins starting staff

    Can you elaborate on what systems are projecting the Twins as a top 5 bullpen? I’ve not heard that anywhere.

    Going back a ways. Steve Gasser and Jeff Baumgerner. They were going to be the aces of the twins staff back in the day. Either of them made it to the majors.
