While I come to this site for baseball info, I appreciate news about the players humanity, I missed the significance of Castro's eyeblack until this article.

Always appreciate minor league content and I think live looks is a valuable addition. When reading about the minor leagues I often wonder how much is based on actually seeing the players.

Its hard to look like you have "life" if no one is hitting. Unfortunately the team as currently constructed really needs a productive Royce Lewis in the lineup and he has either been injured or in a slump in all the stretches of poor play last year and the start of this year.

The comments from Zoll are encouraging. My biggest concern was that we would be forced to make salary dump type trades just to reach arbitrary, $130 million, number. Now it sounds like if we make a deal the primary objective is to improve the team and there isn't a salary level that we absolutely have to reduce to reach.

I don't get the meanspirited and sad comments. I found this interesting and for the most part shows there were not clear cut winners in these years and MVP tends to be little subjective and not always well defined by statistical measures.

I would like to see a spot added where the minor league injuries and rehab progress are tracked. I'm not sure how much info is available, but just for instance with Canterino and Prielipp I have no idea where they are in their recovery process and when thy might be coming back.

It is frustrating Buxton is back on IL, but it is his hamstring not his knee, there are many knee conditions that might linger that do not require knee replacement surgery. His recent performance was on the upswing and ultimately he is needed if twins have any hope of a playoff run. I trust the training staff/doctors wouldn't have him out there if he was doing long term damage to his knee

Twins biggest problem is lack of pitching. It makes no sense to me to trade one of our best pitchers if we have any hope of being a competitive team in the near future. We need to figure a way to sign him long term. .
