    iF one does not want to read it, because it is not a front line player, they are fair weather baseball fans and not much to be concerned about. This thread has reminded me of gents that had slipped from memory and I am glad you reminded me of them.

    Hmmm, Keirsey will not be good enough but by some wannbe miracle Martin will suddenly get better. Rationalization at its worst.

    Julien did not improve during the season; Ed improved over the winter and spring training. He was removed for defensive reasons all last season. Martin can improve in AAA; bring Keirsey up to see if he is a flash in the pan or a truely good Buxton fill in, Martin is NOT.

    Miranda is still not a good fielder, Farmer is far better at 3rd that Miranda and better at 2nd than Julien. Farmer should always be given the nod.

    Larnach has regained the form he once had with the bat. His future may be very positive.
