    I talked about an "it" factor the other day and got mocked by many. This team schould not be looking at this year. Look to build a really good team down the line...

    Not going to be a contender with this team. Evident with this home stand.

    I wouldn't try and fix this team this year. Championships are won by special teams. This Twins team isn't special. I would try to make the playoffs this year without making any expensive moves and keep building for a special team at some point.

    Guys, please... This Twins lineup has to win the Division to get into the playoffs. There won't be a wildcard team from the NC Central. That said, they will not advance in the playoffs. Teams better than the Twins - Tampa, Boston, Toronto, Yanks, Stros and maybe Rangers and Seattle.

    Don't forget Sid. The Twin Cities has been blessed with great sports writers. Souhan and Sansevere (in his fantasy ffotball league for years).

    Indeed. The bullpen is an absolute joke. I don't think the Twins benefit by trading Berrios. He's a solid low 2 high 3.

    MLB draft is a huge crap shoot. Luck is what a team needs when drafting.

    Berrios is a very good #2 on just about any staff. Worth $100mm? No. Especially if you don't have a real #1. The Twins haven't had a real #1 for a long time. Buxton has not proven he can stay on the field. I don't agree in giving him a huge contract for 70-80 games a year. Time to get what we can for anyone on this roster. If this club continues to want to build from within and not spend money, do it now while they have some value.
