    If Gibson doesn't get a chance for the shutout I am going to be upset. He doesn't have that many pitches, we have a big lead, he hasn't been in trouble all day, and we have another game tonight. If this isn't the time to let him go then we are basically saying there is never a time for a pitcher to complete a game.

    The thing is no matter how good his defense is he is one giant black hole on offense. It's no different than having Brendan Ryan or Adam Everett at short. I feel like I'm having the Punto argument again. If everyone else hits it doesn't matter what Punto/Florimon does offensively.
