    The offense went to sleep for six innings but tough to fault them for scoring seven runs. The bullpen just wasn't good enough on this day.

    Souhan is the definition of snooty. The overall tenor of twins territory would be far different if they even had moderate postseason success to fall back on rather than historic ineptitude.

    Anyone think that's by design? Front offices want managers to implement their vision, not think independently. 30 years ago managers were hired because they were able to put their stamp on a game. The days of lasorda, larussa, piniella, sparky, Leyland are long gone. And that makes me sad.

    The sad thing to me is his performance wasn't unexpected. He has one season batting over .210. Having Correa flop is more justified to me as he has a track record of successful seasons. Gallo has one outlier.
