  1. The article did a poor job explaining why the Twins cannot send Sano to the minors. Earlier in his career Sano was sent down. Why, exactly, is it different now? Sano simply never put in the work to learn how to work his bat through the ball. He pulls off every pitch. It was the same with Buxton until he committed to working it out. And look how Buxton has improved. It's ime for Sano to contribute...now, or he has to go.
  2. I'm disappointed. IMHO these mid season trades detract from the team concept of baseball. I never favored the Yankees method of buying your way to a Championship. Your team should be made up of your opening day roster or come from your farm system for the entity of the season.. Nelson Cruz is a professionals professional, a leader, and a great man. He deserved better, and so did Twins fans.
  3. Sano frustrates me. Watched him "K" three more times last night swinging "off" the ball. Three seasons ago both Sano and Buxton were struggling with swinging "through" the ball. Both were supposedly working on it. Buxton is a much better batter because of that work. Not Sano, who consistently initiates his swing by pulling his left shoulder "off" the ball. Hence, Slider, Slider, Slider....your out. Couple of games ago Sano swings "through" the ball and is rewarded with three HR's. If Sano can't consistently swing "through" the ball, IN GAMES, he doesn't deserve to play at this level. Enough is enough. And it's time for Donaldson to step up his game at the plate, and stop lunging forward to initiate his swing, or sit down and let the younger players develop.
