  1. Why is Baldelli arguing that call. As soon as Jimenez rounded 1st he ran into Miranda.
  2. They killed. Every show. The Swedish Chef was pretty funny too. Chicken in the basket as he's shooting hoops
  3. He does make a lot of contact but I agree he's kinda like Austadillo. And he's not barreling up balls.
  4. That's what the Twins need to do more of. But instead they yank their starters at the 1st sign of trouble. Justin Bieber knows how to pitch. Urchela baled him out
  5. Where will his spot be? 3rd or outfield do you think
  6. His hitting 9th with Buxton leading off is done on purpose because of Buxtons speed
  7. 6‐4-3. Other teams hit into double plays too?
  8. Norm Cash supposedly carried a 2x6 to face Bob Gibson game 1 of the 68 world series whe Gibson fanned 17. He told the ump he couldn't hit Gibson with a bat so he'd try his luck with a bigger piece of lumber. Don't know where they would find a 2x6 at a stadium
  9. No its 2 statues guarding oz or middle earth. Not sure
  10. The Guardians of Traffic. Several statues that watch you as you drive 100 mph to get the hell outta Cleveland
  11. What happened to the Cotter guy they found at the playground. Baldelli said he had him penned in at 1st tonight. Don't tell me he's on the IL already
  12. Yeah but no one was going to catch the 84 Tigers. A 35-5 start will do that
  13. Plus you already had Viola and Erickson. So it has worked for a few organizations that way. The 80s Tiger teams and Brewers built much the same way. Cardinals too. Those 80s and 90s Yankee teams sucked. They paid high priced free agents and never developed their young guys until late 90s early 2000s with Jeter Williams Posada etc. It's the right formula and you know it. Keep doing it your way. And keep complaining year after year.
  14. Ok how about the 80s and 90s when they won a lot. If memory serves me right. They built their roster with young guys and stuck with them. Knobloch Hunter Puckett Hrbek Gladden and you picked up key free agent in Morris
  15. None of the above. Move Lewis to 3rd base. I'm assuming that a decision regarding Kirilloff is coming. So let's say the Twins send him back. So do you put Miranda at 1st? Or is he back down to AAA too. So you need a 1st baseman. Urshela/Arreaz maybe. If you say no to that, the question is who then?
  16. Let me see if memory serves me correctly. 2012/2013 the Astros were the worst team in baseball. Altuve was 1st year and then they started adding 1 or 2 young guys a year and they stuck with them. Correa Brantley Springer Bregman etc. They built that core through the draft and sprinkled in some free agent pitchers Grenke and Verlander. I think Kuechel was there. Got some bullpen help via trade and have consistently added pieces since then. Tucker last year the rookie shortstop this year. And they win consistently each year. The Twins and all of mlb have the blueprint. The problem is they don't have the patience. If their young guys don't perform immediately they panic and demote. And Twin fans are up in arms. As long as they keep doing it like that it'll be a while before they have long playoff runs let alone a World Series ring
  17. You're killing me smalls. Oh wait, thats old. Not funny
  18. Chief can't be that old or he'd be USAAF
