    Didn't want to start a new thread for this but I heard somewhere that when we were trading Johan we could have got Matt Kemp. I'm just wondering if this is true? I realize that Kemp may not have turned into what he is now but I'm just curious.

    According to MLBtraderumors.com the Twins are showing heavy interest in Dominican shortstop Amaurys Minier.

    Doumit going back to Pittsburgh? Interesting. I like the idea of getting Alen Hanson, he is still a ways away but he would be somebody who would come up with the Sano group. I really cannot see the Pirates giving up either Cole or Taillon but it would be great if I was wrong.

    Any chance we can get a guy like Alex Meyer from the Nats from Span or is that too high of a prospect? Where in most organizations would the prospects rank that we should expect to receive for Span, Morneau, Capps, Willingham, or whoever else?

    Agreed with everything. If the Twins top prospects after the trade deadline doesn't look different I will be very disappointed.
