    I didn't really feel like making a new thread for this but I guess Perkins is drawing some interest. From Jon Morosi tweeted "Heavy interest in #Twins lefty Glen Perkins. He's been dealing this month, good contract. MIN asking price very high."

    Where does he rank in their system? I was looking at MLB.com's rankings and they have him as their 10th best prospect. I don't know how good MLB.com is at ranking prospects but that's where I always look.

    According to MLBTradeRumors " The Twins' asking prices for Morneau ("pricey"), Denard Span ("more pricey"), and Josh Willingham ("it made me laugh") are high. Minnesota insists they will listen on anyone and Stark says Morneau is the bat they're most likely to move. Francisco Liriano is "nearly 100 percent" likely to be traded."

    If Liriano doesn't want to be traded like somebody up above said than maybe we can trade him and get some good prospects and then sign him again in the offseason.

    If we don't trade him this deadline I think it is a big mistake. We can't just keep dangling him out there. It has got to be messing with Denard hearing these rumors and could very well hurt his relationship with the organization. Hopefully somebody bites on him and gives us our asking price but I just don't see it.
