Should be interesting to see who the final cut will be. Still rumblings that Budinger will be moved, but even at his salary I'd like to see how he can contribute now that he is finally healthy.

Not sure if it's relevant or not, but I found it interesting that Molitor's daughter and Carl Pohlad's granddaughter (not sure which son is her father) own a juice bar in Uptown. http://www.twincities.com/ci_25019565/q-co-owners-minneapolis-truce-juice-bar

Canada does not let U.S. citizens with DUI convictions within the past 10 years into their country. I would have no problem with us deporting him. We should be more stringent on non-citizens committing crimes here IMO. If I were to commit a crime in another country, I would expect to be sent home and not allowed back.

He's kicked his spitting habit, so I'm all for signing him if the price is right. Garza developed something of strange reputation among watchful fans: he’s a chronic spitter. Garza said the reason he spit so often – as many as three or four times between pitches – was because he would lick his fingers after using the rosin bag behind the mound, then spit out the rosin. Garza explained to the Sporting News: “You try to keep your hand dry so you're able to control the baseball. But that's dry tree sap, you know? You try to lick tree sap and tell me if you like it or not.” Garza has recently kicked the habit because he says the rosin gave him heartburn.

It's time to get ready for the 8th annual Celebrity Death Pool! Start compiling your lists for 2014. Rules are: - Pick 25 celebrities that you think may pass away during 2014. - Points are earned based on age. 100 minus their age. So if someone on your list dies and was 88 years old, you earn 12 points. If someone was 24, you earn 76 points. - Celebrities are allowed per my approval. They need to be pretty well known. George Clooney's nephew does not count, but Michael Lohan would be allowed. I'll notify you if someone on your list doesn't meet the criteria. - Winner will receive a prize TBD. - Send completed lists to me here via PM. Lists will be accepted through Jan 6th, 2014. Let me know if you have any questions.
