  1. Adolis Garcia will ground into a double play here.
  2. I hate Russian dolls. They’re so full of themselves.
  3. Most people are shocked when they find out how bad I am as an electrician.
  4. I can't believe I got fired from the calendar factory. All I did was take a day off.
  5. Did you know that a sausage once played baseball? He quit because he was the wurst on his team.
  6. When you think about it, these players should be wearing armor. You see, they are playing a knight game.
  7. Good for him. On another note, I can't wait to see what Joe Burrow will be getting.
  8. Minnesota Twins' President of Baseball Operations Derek Falvey recently appeared on MLB Network Radio's "Front Office" podcast. In the segment, Falvey shared some of his objectives for improving the team at the upcoming trade deadline. According to Falvey, he intends to "fortify the middle of" the bullpen. Falvey also mentioned they would like to add another right-handed bat to the Twins' lefty-dominated lineup. A link to a twitter post containing the audio is included below. Do you agree with Falvey that the middle of the bullpen is the team's primary area of concern? Or are there other, more pressing needs? View full rumor

  10. I literally just said that one three-game regular season series isn't great evidence as to which team is superior. A sample of 100+ games is solid evidence.
  11. In the postseason, teams are forced to run out their best pitchers, as it's win or go home. Not so in the regular season. Success against a team's 3rd, 4th, and 5th starters isn't a great indicator of success against their 1st and 2nd starters.
  12. No, the Yankees have consistently been a superior team to the Twins over the past 20 years. That explains their head-to-head record in the regular season and postseason. One three-game regular season series isn't great evidence as to which team is better.
  13. Postseason baseball is different than regular season baseball in multiple ways.
  14. It didn't fit for the Twins two years ago... **shudders** ...maybe it fit for Cinderella.
