  1. Pitt does make sense. They have plenty of egos.
  2. I've attached a poll where you can select multiple answers. Choose all of the choices which apply to you.
  3. I just can’t root for Cousins now.
  4. Josh Allen just got a Jupiter-sized contract from Buffalo, 6 years, $258M. $150M of it guaranteed.
  5. Look I know it’s Cousins’ personal decision but it’s still unacceptable.
  6. Really disappointed in Cousins. If doesn't get vaccinated and he has to miss games because of it, he should be let go.
  7. If they’re set back 2-4 years, it wouldn’t be because of the FA Signings, since they were all on 1-year deals. It would be more likely they were in trouble after 2021.
  8. He’s still a solid rotation piece. But yeah. Not ace material. And I think that the FO is smart enough to see that, so I’m not worried.
  9. My entire view of Cousins/Zimmer has done a 180.
  10. I’m not going to make this a poll, rather, a short answer. This season has been awful, and it has seen the Twins deal Jose Berrios, probably the only pitcher the Twins have managed to develop in a while. He was dealt for two Top 100 Prospects. After this season’s trade deadline, the Twins find themselves in a position where they will need to develop their pieces to fill in spots on the major league team. Question: How confident are you in this FO and Coaching Staff to develop these prospects to their fullest?
  11. Yes, I agree. $25M is his market value. Still, he made it clear he wouldn’t sign here for that price.
  12. It doesn’t matter what the “overpay” threshold is. If it’s by definition, “not an overpay” why would Berrios consider it an overpay? Why would he stay because of something that is by definition “not an overpay?”
  13. Your argument could also support bringing Eddie Rosario back, claiming “that is the price for your young LF” for $10M. Which would’ve been a pretty unwise move. If you’re looking for a base for Berrios, look at someone like Lance McCullers. He’s paid $17M/year. That’s about how much someone like Berrios should make. Not $30M/year.
  14. The Top 10 Highest Paid SPs Right Now: 1. Gerrit Cole, $36M 2. Stephen Strasburg, $35M 3. Zack Greinke, $34.4M 4. Trevor Bauer, $34M 5. Justin Verlander, $33M 6. David Price, $31M (yikes!!) 7. Clayton Kershaw, $31M 8. Max Scherzer, $30M 9. Chris Sale, $29M 10. Jacob deGrom, $27.5M Those are the only guys who come close to making $30M/year. None of them are “young,” and Berrios isn’t as good as any of them. (Okay, maybe Price but as I implied, that contract is awful) You also talk about him as being “consistent” when he’s completely the opposite.
  15. Looks like FDA is planning to approve the Pfizer vaccine by next month. Will Cousins, Thielen, and Smith get it then? Like for “yes,” quote for “no.”
  16. In any case, Zimmer and Kubiak (and Spielman) should be able to see that Dozier and Samia are their worst options and they won’t start.
  17. Dozier and Samia should be let go before nightfall. Edit: I didn’t see Udoh. He better win that starting job over Dozier and Samia. I’ve heard from the Athletic that they’re trying Wyatt Davis at Center, which might push Bradbury.
  18. Those two players are so bad that teams probably weren’t going to give up a player with more than one year left to get them. The Happ trade is an exception.
  19. I’ll elaborate my opinion on it because why not Them getting a prospect for Happ is mind-boggling. That prospect is basically for free, kind of like the Vikings getting 2 thirds basically for free this past draft. Sad to see Berrios go, but they got a haul back for him. Good job there. Like Happ, getting a prospect for Robles is basically a free prospect. I also like the haul they got for Cruz. But how did they not deal Pineda? There was no reason not to. All and all, I have good first impressions of it. I more wait to grade it until I see how everything unfolds.
  20. Discussion down below:
  21. Surprised they got something for Happ. That’s a W.
  22. Now that I look at it, he could make sense as a backup. But he is godawful as a starter. Last year, 9 Penalties and 6 Sacks given up? YIKES!!
  23. Imagine if the Ravens were stupid enough to do this…
