  1. Under your user name is a link to "My Settings" (not My Profile). The first Tab is Profile Settings (a/k/a "General Account Settings" on the page). The 5th item down is "Profile Information" and that has a blank for "Member Title". That's what I changed.
  2. If you go to your settings, you can change your member profile. I just changed mine from "Senior Member" to "Exhausted Oldie"
  3. One more thing about the site. I don't think we're really going to get a feel for how things work until after Monday. Weekends tend to be slow for posts to the general threads and it is hard right now to see how the site will work when there are a lot new posts. Not that any of that helps you SB.
  4. I have no idea. I was just bored this afternoon and started trying as many things as I could on the site to try to figure them out. But I basically do everything from my laptop because I'm usually working on something else.
  5. It was nice of Brock to give us something else to think about tonight. Since no one would "like" what the Twins are doing.
  6. I haven't had any problems either but I think Chi said she had a limit, too. Must be you mods. You can only warn not like.
  7. I thought about posting a new thread on it but I've said it so many times I just feel like I'm repeating myself. The Strib comments in Howard's column tend to be a little tamer than on articles and yet they are still really heavily in favor of a change.
  8. If you ask Brock in the thread on the new TD, he'll probably remove the warning points. They were all messed up on how many everyone had. He said something about just giving everybody a fresh start (he removed mine). But apparently you can only see your own points not anyone else's.
  9. Well, Howard Sinker finally called for Gardenhire to be released as manager today: http://www.startribune.com/sports/twins/blogs/268719462.html It's a pretty low ebb. Plus they had a team meeting last night .... called by Gardy ... sounds like the 1st all year. Got to be getting near the nadir.
  10. http://twinsdaily.com/topic/11910-game-thread-twins-v-pale-hose-726-610pm-ct/ under Minnesota Twins Talk. Unless you haven't caught up in the forums lately, I do recommend going in and just marking the whole forum as "read". It'll make it so much easier to stay current from here on.
  11. Probably got too many fake warning points from the mods games!
  12. Get that virtual "red ink" ready, ChiTown.
  13. Thank you. I did make one sarcastic comment in the last month or so that I was called on but otherwise I think I've been pretty well-behaved.
  14. Wow, if 3 points will get you a delay, I'm a little confused about how I got 3 points when I can only remember one warning about a month ago and (maybe) one in September 2011 (or thereabouts) (I'm not even sure that was an official warning).
  15. Thanks ChiTown and yes, Brock ... ChiTown did answer my question about getting to the last post in a thread .... just click on the star at left. The trick is that when you first get on the revamped site, the star will always take you to the first post so readers either need to mark the thread as read so that the star will then take you only to the first new post or just mark the whole forum as read and get a fresh start.
  16. Okay, the star works if you go in and mark either the individual thread as read or just give up and mark the whole forum as read. I see the links at the top at right of center now, ChiTown so that's helpful but I'm not sure that I like that what is in the location is different in the forums than on the front page. On the front page, that is where you get to Jeremy's organizational chart and to the Roster & Payroll page. It would seem like it would be really helpful to have the quick and easy links to those 2 things when you are in the forums not just on the main page. (And I'm now violating the suggestion that I made that this thread be locked so all the comments could go on Brock's article about the new site).
  17. I tried that earlier and it didn't work for me but it may have been before I marked all my forums as read so I'll try it again. Thanks.
  18. But that wouldn't necessarily be the last unread post if you'd been gone awhile. On the old site you could click an arrow and it would take you to the last unread post even if there were 20 posts after that. I like easy.
  19. Congrats, ChiTown, on posting your very first game thread on the new site. I hope that we can have a "WINNAH"! at the end of it.
  20. One more thing, is there something happening that old articles are just appearing all of a sudden. I'm going in and reading thinking that the Twins are claiming people off waivers and its really old news. Ah, growing pains ... such fun. Basically I've just marked all my forums as read so I'll know when comments are really new but the Articles section is just humming.
  21. Brock, First, congratulations on the revamped site and thanks for all of your hard work. I'm sure we'll all find a lot to like as we explore. Also, thanks to those of you who devoted time and effort to helping Brock with the testing. And a big thanks to Jeremy -- just took a brief look at the organization chart and roster & payroll -- they are amazing. And thanks to all of the owners and contributors at TD for giving us a place to talk about our favorite team that is both open for discussion and relatively sane (with the exception of the occasional game thread on the sanity question). A couple of questions and suggestions: 1. I'd suggest that you lock the thread on TD being down this a.m. so that any comments on the new site get put here instead. 2. Will you continue to add Articles to the appropriate forum so that they get comments? As nice as the right sidebar is, I still believe that it is the forums that will help drive the comments. And it just seems easier to keep track of new posts there. 3. On the forums, can you tell us the easiest way to navigate to the last unread post in a thread? Love the color scheme and the REALLY CLEAN fonts and I'm sure I'll get used ot some of the things that may seem strange to me at first. Congrats again on completing the "make-over". JB
  22. It is just a little amazing though to think of Maddux, Glavine and Cox going in together. Some great 90's Braves teams.
  23. Brock, Love the color scheme and the fonts. Find it more difficult to get back to the forum I'm in. I'm sure I'll get used to finding that little "Back to Minnesota Twins Talk" link in the future but I was used to just clicking at near the top of the page. Also, to follow up on Mike's question. What is the easiest way to get to the last unread post? I see if I click on the arrow, it shows me who the first poster was and the last poster was but I can't really see an easy way to get to the last post. Also, feel like I'm seeing a lot more ads. Thanks. JB
  24. Well, I'm going to turn off the TV with it 8-3 ... ..... to go watch some M*A*S*H. Bring out the Rally Rhino, Rally Hippo, Rally Bunny, Rally Cake ..... the Twinks need all the help they can get.
