    Morris was brought up as a long relief man. Granted 30 pitches in.one inning is quite a bit but he is stretched out as a starter, and he can go several innings. Everybody says bring the AAA guys up and give them a chance and that’s what Shelton did. Hopefully Morris gains from the experience.

    Well, the bullpen obviously didn’t hold up, but they’re not really expected to. It’s the hitters that couldn’t add to early, mid, or late game leads that are the biggest culprits in those three losses. Lots of chances and came up empty about every time. Starters are the only group that are holding their own.

    Wasn’t talking about that error. It was along the lines of the discussion all season about Lee not cutting it, and everybody wanting Gray or Culpepper to play short. Culpepper is not ready with either his bat or his glove.

    They need to bring Arcia up to play shortstop. He’s the best fielder they’ve got in the system to play that position, and he’s hitting a little bit down in AAA.

    The twins tried this yesterday where they get a bunch of guys on base and leave them there. I don’t think it’s gonna work today, and it didn’t work yesterday.

    Wow, Outman gets a hit and Lee takes two bases!!

    As usual the Twins are sewing Singer up!

    Besides making an error on that ground ball, Lee looked absolutely terrible tracking both of those pop-ups that Outman had to save him from.

    Abysmal eighth inning by the twins hitters..

    Probably the best we could hope for in that situation to get out of that inning only giving up one run.

    The only way that call stood is they ruled that he had his foot pushed off the base.

    Sim is not cutting it. Better get it in gear or his spot is up for grabs.

    So the only thing holding Abel back was his control prior to this year. He seems to have improved immensely at that. If he can keep it going, he’s got ace written all over him.
