Mauer wasn't too pleased with that call. Appeared to be inside, but that's the way things are going I suppose.
  2. NorthwestTwinsFan
OK, I've had enough of this garbage.
  3. NorthwestTwinsFan
    This team is a farce.
  4. NorthwestTwinsFan
This is quite the roster assembled by Mr. Ryan.
  5. NorthwestTwinsFan
Leadoff runner is on base. Could this be it??
  6. NorthwestTwinsFan
Twins hitters have absolutely no plan when they approach the plate.
  7. NorthwestTwinsFan
Could the Twins beat their own AA team? I think that would be good matchup.
  8. NorthwestTwinsFan
Well, on a positive note, Buxton is 3-3 with a homerun so far tonight. So that's cool.
  9. NorthwestTwinsFan
Yeah, a good Major League outfielder should probably make that catch.
  10. NorthwestTwinsFan
It would be nice to start seeing more of that from Plouffe. The Twins desperately need it.
  11. NorthwestTwinsFan
Twins pitchers have been bamboozled by terrible outfield defense this season.
  12. NorthwestTwinsFan
Well, at least Buxton is back on the field today. So that's something positive, I guess.

The only good thing about Nolasco pitching today is that I don't have to see him when the Twins come to Seattle this week.
  14. NorthwestTwinsFan
I wonder what kind of scouting/research the Twins did on Nolasco before giving him that contract. Did they just look at his ERA from last season and say "We gotta get this guy!"?
  15. NorthwestTwinsFan
The Twins scored 9 runs today, yet never really had a serious chance to win. This pitching staff needs some upgrades.
  16. NorthwestTwinsFan
Joe Mauer: Rally-killer extraordinaire. Why is this guy batting third?
  17. NorthwestTwinsFan
    Oh whoops, you're right.

    Golden Sombrero for Fuld.

If only the Twins had some decent starting pitchers in AAA to replace Deduno...
  20. NorthwestTwinsFan
Or in the rotation instead of Correia or Deduno.
  21. NorthwestTwinsFan
    Probably not a bad idea.
  22. NorthwestTwinsFan
If they can somehow get two more good innings from him, I say they thank their lucky stars and call it a night for him.
  23. NorthwestTwinsFan
    A 1-2-3 inning????
  24. NorthwestTwinsFan
That inning had "disaster" written all over it. Nice job getting out of the jam.
  25. NorthwestTwinsFan
I've heard that some teams have their best hitter bat third in the lineup.
