  1. I agree with pretty much all of this. I really don't know if Jenkins and Culpepper are ready, but trust the front office knows.
  2. I'd be fine with Ritchie or Murphy were part of the package. Both seem to be solid arms. I'd definitely push for Hartman as part of it though.
  3. I agree with this. If we are trading Joe, which I don't want to do, you need to get some solid pitching back in the deal. Along with Sirota I'd be going after Zach Root and maybe River Ryan, although I don't like that he's already 27. I actually really like the Atlanta idea for Caminiti and Hartman. That seems like the best package mentioned for me. I don't think Seattle trades Anderson and I don't like the Yankees top pitchers. Not overly impressed with San Diego's farm, at least not for Joe.
  4. I could get on board with Kilby over their pitchers. Like someone else said, control issues with their top pitchers is a pass from me.
  5. I agree with pretty much all of this. I'm not saying Tait is a lost cause, I just think he has a lot of work to do. He's so young that he still has a chance.
  6. Lots of pitching, which isn't bad. I do like to see a little bit of balance between pitchers and hitters though.
  7. Always interesting to see if they can find some MLB talent late in the draft. So far I think it's been a solid draft. Not necessarily who I'd have gone with but I can see why they did. I'm hoping for another high upside high school pick mixed with the usual college guys.
  8. Seems strange to draft 2 college catchers with your first 2 picks.
  9. I was hoping for one of the shortstops to drop. Since they didn't, I would have went with Flora.
  10. This has played out how I didn't want it to go. To be fair I didn't like the Culpepper and Houston picks either. It looks like I might be wrong on those and hopefully I'm wrong about this pick too. I'm fairly positive the scouts know more than me
  11. I would be really happy with this. The only one I don't like is Sims, especially if they go with Bumila earlier. I don't mind one super high risk/raw hs pitcher, but two seems like too many on the first day.
  12. I'd be ok with any of Cholowsky, Emerson, Flora or Lackey. That's probably the order I'd go with as well. Anybody else I'd be pretty disappointed with. Shortstops are never a bad idea, you can never have enough pitching, and catcher is such an important position.
  13. I'm hoping one of the shortstops drop to us. after that I think I'd go with Flora. Wouldn't be upset with Lackey because good hitting catchers are hard to find. Like the second and fourth picks a lot.
  14. I personally hope Emerson falls. I doubt Cholowsky does. Wouldn't mind Lackey but I think I'd prefer Flora. The Twins have done a decent job developing lower tiered arms. I'd like to see what they can do with someone that has the arm talent he does
  15. Im hoping Emerson or Flora. I want nothing to do with Lebron. I'm assuming Cholowsky will be gone
  16. That would be a terrible return for one of your better trade chips. I would hope the front office would be run out of town if they agreed to that
  17. I think you are spot on with Festa destined for the bullpen. I believe Bradley should end up there too. I just don’t see the Twins agreeing with me

  19. I personally would have went with Miller. I think Tait moves off catcher really reducing his value
  20. I was definitely hoping for a little closer to the majors for the headlining piece
  21. Like others have said, it should take more than one really good prospect. I need three for sure. Prefer Some that aren’t far away, one of which would need to be a pitcher
