  1. Lay off that breaking crap until he spots his fastball.
  2. Worse than that, they’re just sitting on strikes right in the middle of the zone, because Twins pitchers haven’t been able to work many other parts of it. Breaking balls are fine but you need to be able to get some over for strikes occasionally and be able to do it in the odd unfavourable count. They have done nothing to disrupt the rhythm of the Yankees hitters, instead relying on them chasing. The pitch execution plays a big part but I just don’t think the plan has been very solid. I’d like to see some data on their fastball and change up usage, frequency and location. I’d guess it’s been pretty pathetic. I haven’t seen any indication that they have any idea how to attack this lineup.
  3. Pitching and plate approach have been a hot mess two games in a row. The Yankees look far more prepared in both areas, it’s been impressive to watch them execute their game plan. The Twins are letting themselves down, do not seem focused at all. Disappointing.
  4. Grand Slam to Didi Gregorius.....still digesting that one, again.
  5. Didn’t the Twins blow an 8 run lead to the Yankees? Just saying....
  6. Lol, Stanton walking that one down the line. What a joke.
  7. There doesn't look like a hope in hell they get him out, lol.
  8. Same issue as Berrios, just not locating pitches. Tanaka is hitting his spots and Dobnak simply isn't. Yankees more than willing to take strikes until he can consistently. I think Dobby is a little overwhelmed.
  9. The Yankees punish everything in the zone, that's the difference.
