    Twins: SP Kyle Gibson Mariners: SP Erasmo Ramirez Things to think about: 1. Think about Sam Deduno... His ERA is now down to 3.18. At some point... you have to consider him as a legit stopper. Of course that doesn't do us much good today but I think it's worth thinking about. 2. Think about Kyle Gibson... He's still trying to recover from a real bad start against the Yankees. He's been OK apart from that real bad start. His ERA will remain some inflated until he can get some more decently thrown innings under his belt. Hopefully he can continue to chip away at that inflated 5.72 ERA this afternoon. 3. Think about the Twins Offense... Still not impressing us very much. There is no one on the current roster that you can consider hot. This puts a lot of pressure on the Pitching and Defense. 4. Think about the Pitching and Defense... It's been pretty dang good lately. 5. Think about Architecture... I work in a building that has already been built... Yet it is still called a building... Like it's not done yet.

    Not True... I went to Drayton the other night to see the Polish Spelling Bee.

    It depends on how big of a stadium... If you want one bigger than 1,000 square miles... It might be a little tight. Anything less than that. We'll just move some Potatoes and Sugar Beets aside and get it done.

    As much as I am pre-disposed to not like Fargo being from Grand Forks. i admit that Fargo is doing quite well... Restaurants are all full... The economy is flourishing. Its not AAA material but it could do Single A. As for Hockey... Grand Forks sells out a state of the art rink. It's a lesson that a winner can draw anywhere.

    Las Vegas is struggling with over a million in the same geographic range. I'd love to see minor league ball up here but it would have to be A ball and Fargo/Moorhead has the better population base. AAA markets can draw 10,000 a game. The Redhawks in Fargo draw 3,000... Plus you have to consider corporate sponsorships. Motivated Owners and The building of a stadium that generates income. Hillsboro wouldn't be able to support that.

    Did you see that Fastball... Franklin was fooled by it... Diving in on his hands like that... Wow... DEDUNO!!!

    I can't watch the game... So I'm gonna assume that Deduno made a great recovery and play on that comebacker. So... with that Assumption... "NICE PLAY DEDUNO". WOO HOO!!!

    I have no problem with Harang walking 66.6 Percent of all batters he faces.

    It is not Televised... Fox controls the Baseball World on Saturday and Seattle/Minnesota is not on their schedule. I don't like missing Deduno and I'm not watching Fox for a week in retaliation.

    I had a job interview in Baltimore about ten years ago. Before I was flown out for the interview... I had a pre-interview over the phone. The Guy had a list of out of left field questions prepared and he just went down the list. One of the questions I was asked was: What is the stupidest thing I have ever done? He was just trying to get an idea about my personality before paying the airline and hotel costs to bring me to Baltimore. I have done hundreds of stupid things that would have painted me as a good guy... interesting and employable. But I hadn't thought about those things in quite some time and they were out of my immediate memory. My mind immediately went to the really stupid things that I would rather not let anyone know about... On the spot... I had to roll past all of those things in my mind until something came into my head. In the end... I gave a wimpy little answer and uninteresting story. After the phone call was over... I spent the rest of the day saying... I should have said this... or I should have said that. 20 different better ideas came into my head. I was flown to Baltimore but my point is this. If you answer questions off the cuff. Try not to place any weight in those off the cuff answers. Every individual is much deeper than that.

    I agree... When the lineup starts shifting... You better watch where you are standing.

    If I remember right... Long time ago... It's 2 days max and could be 24 hours with no problems. Caesarian can be 3 to 4 days. Premature Twins... I have no idea but you'd have to assume longer... If I'm Dad... I will show up at the home ball park... But I ain't flying anywhere. Good for Joe!

    Think back to the greatest moments in your life. Joe Mauer could go 5 for 5 with 5 home runs leading the Twins to victory of Game 7 of the World Series. That amazing game 7 victory would still be ranked way below the birth of your kids. Everybody in the World should get at least a week off for it.

Think about Odds... The Incredible King Felix took on the struggling Scott Diamond and the Twins win in extras after the struggling Trevor Plouffe tied the game in the 9th with a pinch hit followed by a home run by the struggling Chris Colabello. Yesterday truly doesn't matter and that was true yesterday and it's true today as well. 2. Think about Deduno... The guy continues to impress while some still wait for regression. All I know... Deduno looks more like a talented pitcher than any arm we've had start a game in 3 years. 3. Think about the Trade deadline... That clock is ticking... isn't it. 4. Think about Colabello and Plouffe switching spots in the lineup. Plouffe has been off a tish and Colabello hit his first homer. That and... Willingham is hurt while Arcia and Parmelee are in AAA. 5. Think about the Congress... Pro is the opposite of Con... It stands to reason that Progress would be the opposite of Congress.
