  1. I can't imagine ever switching Correa to a different position... He's one of the top Defensive Shortstops in the game right now. Range... Arm... Glove and a few tricks up his sleeve.
  2. 1. Correa 2. Bryant 3. Sano 4. Pederson 5. Buxton and that's not considering Pitching... There are some great young arms that would mix things up a bit.
  3. Yeah SS used to be a shallow position across the league. WIth this new crop coming in. Not much longer.
  4. I don't want to be smart... Too Much Pressure would follow
  5. To this day... I still remember a day in 4th grade. A Classmate asked if Martians were real and the teacher said no they are not because only earth has what is needed to sustain life Oxygen... Blah Blah Blah and It's too Cold on Mars. Life simply can't survive on other planets for that reason. As a 4th grader I stood tall and replied. "But what if Martians don't need oxygen and they like it really really cold". The teacher had no response. For some reason... I still remember this 40 some years later. I won
  6. OK... I'm watching Big Bang Theory tonight I guess.
  7. I was gonna guess Optometrist but it wasn't an option.
  8. You can change your user name but don't do it... We need a Foghorn Leghorn. We don't have one.
  9. Welcome... I say... Welcome Son. Welcome to Twins Daily That is
  10. Yep... I'll join the chorus. I agree that we needed a catcher but I'm not convinced that our catching cost us wins. But I am convinced that the Bullpen has cost us wins. Jepsen was great but I felt that we needed an infusion of 3 strong arms for the bullpen. Getting 1 at the deadline and an OK guy in August didn't and doesn't cut it for me. I'm not ready to throw furniture around in the front office but yeah... We needed a strengthening of the pen and we still need it.
  11. Oh... and I'll steal any chance for someone to type this: "Something Nice"
  12. The Season isn't over... More wins to get but with the 81st win. I think a thread to say something nice is worth it.
  13. These things have a way of working themselves out... - Riverbrian A man is a success if he gets up in the morning and gets to bed at night, and in between he does what he wants to do. - Bob Dylan Don't wait for the Last Judgement. It takes place every day. - Albert Camus Brick walls are there for a reason. They're not there to keep us out. The brick walls are there to give us a chance to show how badly we want something. - Randy Pausch Far and away the best prize life has to offer is the chance to work hard at work worth doing. - Theodore Roosevelt I cannot afford to waste my time making money. - Louis Agassiz All you have to decide is what you're going to do with the time you are given. - Gandalf The quality of a person's life is in direct proportion to their commitment to excellence, regardless of their field of endeavor. - Vince Lombardi No art, however minor, demands less than total dedication if you want to excel in it. - Leon Battista Alberti, (architect, painter and mathematician) My crystal ball is fuzzy - Lotfi Zadeh (inventor of Fuzzy Logic, when asked to predict the future) If I had a dollar for every million-dollar idea I've had, I'd be rich. - Greg Meyer
  14. Why Not... I'll add one as well. WINNAH!
  15. He was sharp... no doubt about it. The Aviles single was something that just kinda fell off the bat.
  16. I was there when Jim Kleinsasser dropped a pass in the end zone with 33 seconds left in the final game of the year for the NCC Champsionship at North Dakota against Northern Colorado. Final Score Northern Colorado 14 UND 9 Northern Colorado wins the title. The Pass hit Jim in that same difficult spot. It was like 12 degrees and It was hard because Jim was a beast and he was our beast but it was his final play in a UND Uniform and therefore the last memory. Until the Vikings took him in the 2nd round a few months later.
  17. I think I want one now. Don't have any so I'll have to settle for Pizza Rolls.
  18. Nice Job avoiding the Jinx with the "What are the Odds" String... You are a pro.
  19. I agree he is a good OF... He just doesn't do straight back or over the shoulder very well. WR would not be a spot for him in football.
  20. Just keep them off the board
  21. Molly said before the game that it would between 70-80 pitches for Tommy... probably because it was an emergency start and was out of routine.
