    I wish both Phil Hughes and Janigson Villalobos the best. I also wish the 74th pick the best and the 6.5. Million Dollars.

    Zach Duke was the guy who got up first after the Segura home run. Pressly didn't get up until the error or maybe the walk and was probably not ready to face Cruz. After the home run... Seattle had 3 right handers following Segura until Kyle Seager hit from the left side. Odorizzi was at 80 pitches. I wonder if Molitor was simply stuck thinking... Odorizzi until Seager and then I bring in the lefty and kinda went auto-pilot.

    I like the out of the box thinking but looking for a team offensive boost and starting the search at the catcher position is like digging for gold in your bathtub. This team needs bigger... it needs to find that Mark Reynolds type in the AAAA wasteland. But more importantly... Molitor needs to play whoever they bring in for the boost. Lavine could go find that guy but if the player gets LaMarre or Petit playing time... it won't matter. I've said this multiple times and i'm going to say it again. If Molitor can't find playing time for Ryan LaMarre with the team hitting like it is. There is no point having Ryan LaMarre on the roster. Molitor seems to be determined to not change course including going down with the ship I assume.

    I'm trying to recall the last time that Molitor has brought in a reliever for just one batter. I can't recall him doing that. Surely he must have at some point... maybe even frequently but I don't recall Molitor using a reliever for just one batter.

    If Molitor would have started Trevor Hildenberger in the first. Brought Odorizzi in the 2nd let him face 23 batters and then Pressly followed by Bruce Sutter. It would have worked out better.

    That was a heck of a play by Petit. Getting the throw off, turning the double play and kicking the runner in the head.

    My Guess is that Molly probably felt that Sano should have made third on the single. Sano standing on 2nd may have been a wake up call to pinch run someone without a steel rod in his leg.

    I'm OK with Odorizzi starting the 6th despite the stats because he was only around 80 pitches. But... The Segura home run should have got a right hander up in the pen... Not a left hander because Seattle had 3 Righties back to back to back. Molitor must have got Duke up with the expectation of Odorizzi polishing off those right handers and Duke would be ready for Seager. Didn't work.
