    Since we have Trevor May in our system... Can we make it TD policy to not use the phrase "End of May". The Karma makes me nervous. Thats all... Carry on with the future of Hicks.

    The National league game is a little different... That pitchers spot in the order influences things. Besides... Gardy needs to know if his new pitcher hits a wall or not. This is how you find out. Two starts into 2013 and 7 innings both times and good performances to boot. He was cruisin yesterday. As for why I don't blame Gardy... I do blame Gardy... I'm just not going to hang him for it. Why? Because sometimes I've been late taking the Garbage out and the truck goes by and I have to hold that Garbage until next week. It doesn't mean I'm not a good garbage putter outer. Just missed that one.

    Yet... He pinch ran and attempted a steal? Very curious signal sent about his health. His shin is OK if he's running in my opinion.

    I look at the list of available FA's and I agree Keppinger is the only one that I would even consider. The rest of the list is pretty dull. I think the Twins have assessed Brian Dozier as having a shot and are giving him one. Henceforth is name in the lineup. It's up to Brian now. I think it's a fact finding mission... It isn't time to end the Dozier experiment after 21 at bats. The Twins want to know if they can count on him in 2014 and beyond. If it turns out that he can't... Brian will let them know by his performance. He hasn't frightened me yet.

    I'm happy to see Mastro finally get a start. Hicks can be back in tomorrow. Let's see if Mastro is on a roll or not.

    I agree 100 Percent... Correia starting the 8th is not the issue in my mind. I would have told Correia to go get him in the 8th. The Bullpen being late warming up is the issue and I won't hang Gardy for it. Not directed at anyone in particular but if Gardy would have brought Burton in to start the 8th and Burton went on to give up 3 runs. Is it possible that we would have some TD Posters asking how Gardy could have pulled a guy cruising thru 7 at 84 pitches? Not sure... but I think that someone(s) would have. Matter of Fact... I would have complained about that.

    Isn't it pretty safe to assume that he's the starting 2B because a scout or talent evaluator or two has advocated him. We can all read between the lines to this degree... Can't we? I guess I don't understand where this news of talent evaluators being down on him is coming from. I understand that he isn't thought of like Jurickson Profar or even Kolton Wong. However... someone has to be saying he's a decent enough option because here he is. At the very least... Scouts and Evaluators have graded him higher than Escobar and Carroll. It also seems to me that evaluators also have him higher than reasonably priced Kelly Johnson, Ryan Theriot, Maicer Izturis and Ronny Cedano. Because here he is. They also seem to like him more than Jeff Keppinger at 3/12M or Stephen Drew at 9.5 Million because here he is. None of those salary's would have broke the bank. Could the Twins have traded for a SS/2B... Traded who? Trade chips were used on Pitching and rightly so. Ultimately... Brian Dozier will let us all know if he's the guy or not. 21 at Bats in 2013 ain't enough for me and I'm not sure who the best option in house is at this moment. I'm pulling for him.

    Yeah... Who knows... It was gonna take stringing a few together regardless. In the end... We had a good chance... Santana just punched out too many of our guys with that low slider. Tomorrow is game 8.

    Honestly... I'd fire Gardy on the spot for thinking about a double play... when you need a game tying two run shot in the ninth. He'd be a way too negative manager for my tastes... Not too mention a bad karma voodoo type presence when you need the baseball gods.

    I'm serious about this... If I was sitting at a bar... Raising a mug to drink. If Doumit at that moment walked up and said "PUT THAT DOWN". I would drop it immediately... The mug would hit the floor and I'd be apologizing for the beer that landed on his shoes.

    lol... That's an interesting explanation but I'm not buying it. I think it's you and your overwhelming natural inclination for substitution, match ups or change. You probably have a couple different brands of toilet paper... Just for substitution based on what you ate yesterday. Seriously... I think Gardy was thinking Dozier provides a better chance of game tying dinger than Carroll and Rameriz was the Florimon sub. The Dozier Double play ruined all the fine manager ideas.

    Doumit looks like he would hurt people in a bar fight. His neck and Jaw have at least killed some of his turtlenecks.

    i think it's possible that you are substitution inclined and its just part of your personal character. You probably use margarine on occasion for the hell of it.

    Myself... Just yesterday... Walking in the supermarket while looking for Bowtie Pasta. There was one box left and this lady came out of nowhere slid into me while grabbing the last box. She was wearing spikes and eye black.

    Me to... A win would have felt good. In my opinion the mistake was not having Burton warming earlier... Honestly... I would have had Duensing warming up for Getz and Gordon. Burton for Escobar and Butler. But... I would have given Correia every chance to hold that shut out while under 100 pitches. Bottom line... It was a pitcher duel from two guys that no expected to duel. Hats off to Correia. He gave us every chance to win that game. I'm smiling.

    Pitched well? Correction... He pitched Great!!! It was 5 hit shut out... WHIP under 1.00 After an off season of bashing... He earned some love.

    I think the correct criticism was not having Burton warming up sooner. Burton wasn't warm yet when Cain doubled.

    I'd be ok with the signing but I'm waiting for Deduno. I think Deduno will be a damn nice Twin in 2013. Harang will possibly slow the arrival of Deduno.
