  1. Spotty D by the defense-first catcher there.
  2. They haven't been answering their phone all day. Starting to worry that something's wrong...
  3. So the Twins have found an answer to their relief pitching woes, which is to just score a big old pile of runs each game. July Strib sports page story: "Twins look to add left-handed power bat to bullpen at trade deadline". What a fun win, though. First win on the road, Twins rediscovering the long ball, Nolasco continues to pull off the magic act, Murphy chases LOB history.... Fun!
  4. I prefer the term 'Hair Artisan', but thanks. Seeing the hair go yard makes it all worthwhile.
  5. If he broke it today, what else would we have to look forward to from him the rest of the season?
  6. 'Good against remotes in BP is one thing, kid'...
  7. Sure, it's ugly now, but once he gets the hang of The Force, he's totally going to rake... http://paulhershelelsberg.com/Media/starwars/luke_lightsaber_training.jpeg

  10. Sampson Dozier reminding us what he can do when his hair's PH balance is right.
  11. I used "bad Achter" when AJ was with the Twins and nobody burned my house down. Then again, thank goodness for the anonymity of the internet. Also, Buxton is, like... Roadrunner fast.
  12. Nice double by Buxton, but... Dude, run from home to first hard and you won't even need to slide next time.
  13. It's starting to feel like every out they get from Abad in a close game is like every mile you get from your clunker first car after the duct tape goes on the radiator hose.
  14. On behalf of the game thread, safe travels from Posts-Images-A-Lot. http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-s-cZyhlwA0A/UR0qAibS4YI/AAAAAAAAAoM/Pz5oUmXbKTA/s1600/Dances_1.png PS I'm the one waving.
  15. I've got a friend with an ex who can take 'em all on. Just tell her they left the seat up and the other 3,499,999,999 can have the day off.
  16. Heh. Brewer outfielder was all 'I got it I got it I got it', and the ball lands in Lake Michigan. Might want to check those scouting reports on Sano, boys.
  17. Also reports of nine. Terrifying apocalypse or darkness of Mordor, at least we'll have fond memories of Nolasco's rebound to enjoy.

  19. The Twins' plan to use Santana at third and leave Sano in the outfield was reported by Dick without a hint of doubt that it's a sensible course of action. Guess those two assists Santana recorded during his two appearances at third base in the minors must have really sold Dick and the Twins on his ability to play there.
  20. The modest The low The miniscule The microscopic probability of May ever getting another start in a Twins uniform has effectively reached zero with the ineffectiveness/injury of Perkins and now the apparent implosion of Jep.
  21. It's a great win, but it's even bigger to me that the Twins will maybe have more confidence in Tonkin and Arcia, and give them both a legit shot at sticking this time.
  22. Well, ok, if you insist. Hold still. http://www.thelandofshadow.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/HobbitBFATrailer2o1.jpg
  23. Or Goose Gossage's moustache's tendrils ensnaring his soul.
  24. Lawn? Lawn!?! We had to get rid of a foot of topsoil with shovels and a wheelbarrow without a wheel before the Superfund cleanup crew would even set foot on it.
  25. You rich folks and your fancy homes. I grew up living under a dry dung hill. We hated rain. A lot.
