    This is one of those innings that builds character. For Meyer too, I mean, not just us.

    Yeah. It was a lot easier to like him after I found out that he was much better at baseball than at making outboard motors that would start before your arm was ready to fall out of the socket from pulling the rope over and over. Luckily we had the motor when I was in little league so my dad had me on a strict pull count.

    A couple more efforts like that by Jepsen and the league might want to think about making a four run lead in the ninth a save situation. Oh well. A much needed win is a much needed win. Berrios got his K on, Dozier got above Mendoza territory, and Park rolled one up the Mini Matterhorn and into the clown's mouth for his first MLB triple and a free round of miniature golf. All in all, a pretty good night.
