  1. I'm not sure which realization is more disturbing... that I'm old enough to remember when yellow blazers were cool, or that his face cost more than my house.
  2. That and third down conversion. And penalty killing.
  3. Would have waited if I were making them, but I was just getting a refill and planned on just being away from the TV for a few seconds. But we have a pug, and whenever snacks come out, there's usually a series of scuffles not unlike the Pink Panther movies' epic Inspector Clouseau vs Cato battles.
  4. Was in the kitchen and had no line of sight. Thought I heard them say it was Didi's throw that arrived with no chance to get Buxton, but it must have been Starlin. That's what I get for taking a nacho break.
  5. Did anyone else think that it was adorable the way that Didi threw the ball to first as if he had a shot at getting Buxton?
  6. That particular one is a little number called the Crispy Jalapeno slider, and it comes with a free five dollar gift card good toward the copay for your urgent care visit .
  7. I think he maybe was finding A slider, just maybe not his slider. http://snortramen.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/japalenocheeseslider.jpg
  8. Don't make me get Bluto's Pearl Harbor speech warmed up in the bullpen.
  9. Yup. The game is on pace for 54 combined runs. One more baserunner is probably less of a setback than having to pull 8 inning of relief out of the bullpen's backside.
  10. 86 total pitches in the first. This one is on track to wrap up around 8:30 pm. Tomorrow.
  11. It's kind of a race between 'Santana pulled in the first for too many runs given up' and 'Santana pulled in the first due to pitch count'.
  12. If the Yankees get to keep defining their own personal strike zones to the umpire, I'm not sure it will make any difference.

  15. To keep the lead for the whole game, or just for the inning?
  16. Fully expected to see a Yankees reliever strand a Twins runner in scoring position. Did not expect after first inning k.o. of Yankees starter. Did all of that really just happen? I mean... they're really ahead... right?
  17. Not really. The water was off for a few minutes, but that's about it...
  18. Nothing to see here.... just a nice, relaxing night watching the ball game.
  19. Tomorrow's other page 1 TD story... "nicksaviking name TD's Executive VP of Overstatement Prevention".
  20. Looks like the Yankees bullpen catcher is limbering up early tonight....
  21. I'm just grateful that the joke didn't turn out to have something awful to do with the chip reader.
