  1. Update: 3 hits for Sano today
  2. Momentum is totally on Tampa's side. I don't like this.
  3. If the FO doesn't do something about the bullpen soon its inexcusable
  4. Jesus Christ. This bullpen is holding us back.
  5. Front Office...Get. Bullpen. Arms.
  6. Can this guy stop hitting our catchers please?
  7. Move over Berrios. Odor is our ace.
  8. Update: 2 hits and an RBI so far today for Sano
  9. Need to take a hard look at Sano! Only 2 hits and an RBI today. Also only has an OPS of .986
  10. I'm really excited to follow Nelson Cruz through the minors. The guy looks like he has some potential.
  11. I think a third of a season is a pretty good sample size. Twins have beat up bad opponents and played about .500 baseball against playoff contenders. They absolutely are a 100 win caliber team. Sure maybe that might change over the course of the season, but as of right now...yes, yes they are playing like a 100 win caliber team. And if your response is a snarky "oh well obviously they can't win 100 games in 56 games played" then I'd be disappointed, but I'm strictly talking about them playing at the same level as 100 win teams of past seasons.
  12. And just like that...the narrative that Sano isn't deserving of being on the field is blown up.
  13. What's the difference between a groundball or flyball out and a strikeout when no runners are on base? Nothing. As long as Sano produces around his career OBP and has good RBI and OPS numbers with RISP I have no concerns about how much he strikes out. Look at Stanton of the Yankees last year. K'd over 33% of his PAs. Had 100 RBIs and 38 HRs with a OPS of .852. Very productive guy. As long as Sano produces (like he has so far), K's shouldn't define him.
  14. If Eddie can get his BA up around .300 and tick that OPS up he could definitely be a top 10 MVP candidate
  15. Yeah that wasn't a bad pitch. Just gotta tip the cap to Arroyo
  16. No, but when I see posts of "we should send him down" and "we should trade him" I can't help but laugh because those same people vanish as soon as Sano gets a HR or a big hit.
  17. Castro has been smoking the ball lately
  18. Just forgot a small detail. He's slugging .630 with 10 RBIs and 5 HRs in those 42 ABs.
  19. I'm looking at him at 2nd!
